FreshWomen - Season 1 News

Hello, my dear FreshMen!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been posting Status Update here, similar to the ones we post on our blog. These post served to keep you informed about the current development of FreshWomen, and to bring players to our website, so they could play our latest release and give us feedbacks.

However, these posts were not satisfactory to our Steam community. While they kept you informed of the development, they didn’t offer you a way to play Season 2 on Steam, which is what you really want. This, understandably, created frustration.

We heard you.

As of today, we’re changing our communication strategy. We’ll update you weekly about the current status of the development, with clear goals as to the release of Season 2 on Steam, previews, and bring a few voting polls for those who want to contribute with the direction of the project in the future, but we won’t advertise releases that are exclusive to our website here anymore.

Thank you for being vocal about this issue, and for bringing this to our attention. We want to create a great community, and these feedbacks help guide us to the right path!

With that out of our way, I’d like to answer a few of the most common questions we’ve seen in our posts, starting with the big one:



We’re aiming for a Q4 release. We can’t give you a definitive date yet, but, if everything goes according to plan, we expect to be ready in late November/ early December.
But, don’t worry, as soon as we have a confirmed date, we’ll announce it here!

Season 2 will have 4 episodes, and we’re now working on Episode 3.

We’re at about 70% progress with Season 2.



In Season 2, you’ll be able to have sex scenes with:

• Carolyne, the Nurse (new character)
  
• Chloe
  
• Gabby
  
• Alyssa
  
• Julia
  
• Lily
  
• Devilla
  
• Susan
  
• Sue
  
• Ms. Watson
  
• Threesome with Chloe and Julia
  

We want to give you the best game possible, and this means 2 things: quality and quantity.

We believe that, in order for Season 2 to be a satisfactory experience, it should have about 4 hours of gameplay. This is almost the same length as Season 1.

In order for us to reach that, Season 2 was planned with 4 episodes.

It’s a big scope, it takes a long time, and we don’t want to fly blindly through it. In order to create the best game possible, we release smaller updates at OppaiMan Store, and our subscribers give us feedbacks, so we can get everything polished before releasing the full project on Steam.



"We use the subscription money to pay our developers, acquire equipment, research and develop new technologies, and expand our team.



In total, we have 32 members on our team right now:

• 7 working directly on FreshWomen Season 2: 4 artists, 1 animator, 1 writer, 1 team leader
  
• 7 working directly on Forbidden Fantasy: 4 artists, 1 animator, 1 writer, 1 team leader
  
• 7 working indirectly on both projects: 3 programmers, 1 rigger, 1 texture artist, 1 lookdev, 1 storyboarder
  
• 4 working in marketing: 1 motion designer, 1 data analyst, 2 marketing managers
  
• 7 working on OppaiMan Store: 1 UI/UX specialist, 5 programmers, 1 team leader

Hello, my dear FreshMen!

What an amazing week we’ve had! FreshWomen Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2 is almost ready, we made improvements to our Cloth Physics system, and OppaiMan Store reached an INCREDIBLE milestone!

100+ titles released in less than six months! Can you believe it?

Speaking of releases, FreshWomen - Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2 is coming on August 16th! Are you ready? Because we almost are.

Here’s a quick summary of our progress:

• Blocking: DONE!;
  
• Lighting: DONE!;
  
• Facial Expression: DONE!;
  
• Cloth Simulation and Polish: 6 scenes done, 2 in progress, 0 to go;
  
• Animations: All animations on final stage!;
  
• Characters, Script and Storyboards are done!
  
• Voice Acting is done!
  

We’re very excited about this part, and I’m sure you’re going to love it! You’ll have a good time with Julia, Chloe, Alyssa, Madison, Chery, Jessa, Gabby and Angela, and a hot sex scene with Devilla!

An alpha will be released next Friday, so we can get feedback from our testers and polish everything to perfection!

What a great week we had! This week we made a lot of progress in Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2, increased our animation numbers and got ready for our next releases.

FreshWomen - Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2 is coming soon, and here’s our progress so far:

• Blocking: DONE!;

We’re making steady progress, and will be ready to announce a final release date soon. This week, we also implemented a new squish feature to the skin of our characters, and this’ll give a slight bump in realism too.

FreshWomen - Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2 will have a full sex scene with Devilla, and will be a feast for all our Devilla fans out there! She wasn’t featured in a sex scene since episode 3, and I know you missed her. I did too!

In other news, Forbidden Fantasy - Chapter 4 is coming STRONG, and I hope you’re ready! I sat down with our production team, scriptwriter and animator, and together we planned our next sex scene. With clever planing, we managed to increase our animation output by A LOT. It’ll be one of our best scenes yet! Packed FULL of animations, hot dialogue and plenty of variety!

What an exciting week we had!

Our release of FreshWomen Season 2 Episode 3 Part 1 was a huge success, with more than 3000 copies downloaded in the first week and 94% positive reviews!

This was an amazing reception, and our team is ecstatic about it! Your feedbacks were spot on, and got us back in the right path. Thank you for your honesty and support!

I want to take this feedback loop to the next level: if you’d like to give feedbacks about FreshWomen and Forbidden Fantasy straight to the devs, e-mail me at [email protected] . I’ll read all of your feedbacks, and relay them to our team!

In other news, we’re already working on Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2, and man, have we hit the ground running. We’re already done with the blocking stage! A few corrections and improvements are necessary here and there, but our team is already on it. Next week we’ll move all scenes to lighting and facial expressions!

Our animation pipeline is finally clicking with Mocap, and our animator is working miracles! We’ve made a few changes in how we deal with different processes, and today we finished blocking EVERY animation that’ll be in the next release. They’ll go through a round of feedbacks next week, then go to the next stages: secondary movement, tertiary movement, hair and render. I believe that by the end of next week, we’ll send our first animations to final render and sound design!

I’m very happy with this production speed! Our team has improved a lot over the last few months, and I can’t wait to see where we’ll be in the near future.

We made a few improvements to our skin shaders, so you’ll see a quality bump in the next part. We’ll also debut the cloth simulation system I mentioned a few weeks ago, and a hair simulation system that showed A LOT of potential. If we get these tech improvements to work as expected, our release times will be even better!

By the way, Forbidden Fantasy Chapter 3 is entering its final stretch, and we’ll announce a release date for it soon!

I’m honestly amazed at the work the Forbidden Fantasy team is doing, and I’m sure you’ll be too. Chapter 3 has very impressive visuals, great animations and a surprising story.

I sometimes look back at how things were when we started, and it is incredible how things have changed. With a lot of hard work, and a lot of support from you, we managed to turn an idea into mesmerizing order, constant improvement and productivity. When I play our games, I get emotional because I feel that it was worth it!
