Desktop Mars is my new project where we combined constructive game and live wallpaper, all in the style of Minecraft / Voxel.

Build, collect, upgrade and expand your new population on Mars before Elon Musk does!



Main features:
-No rush on time - Build your colony in your style and time.

-Real day and night system - If you play at night, your colony will be at night as well.

-Displayed as wallpaper - Build your colony on Mars on your desktop when doing other stuff.

-Automatic pause - When you play your games, DesktopMars will pause for this moment.

-Automatic start with Windows - Your colony on Mars will start working when you run your PC.

-Steam disconnect - Hide your activity (game restart needed).

-Optimised - Optimised to reduce PC usage to the minimum.

-Settings check - The wallpaper will recognize your system setting and change it if needed. If not, please read "Community HUB/Discussions" or text me for help.

We have a new pack number 5 with updates. Most of them coming from your comments so now the game will be even better. Thanks for all your feedback!

Fixed notifications that been hidden under the menu bar.

Rabbits and sheep will not eat the trees any more.

The dog AI has been improved.

Animals blocking on the fences - fixed.

Probably more little things. :D

Hello everybody,

Many of you have reported that you would like more content.
After adding more animals, we had to add more crops and trees.

Now you can make your farm even more varied.

The new ones are:
Carrots
Lettuce
Pear Tree
Plum Tree





With them, your farms will be even more beautiful.

Many of you wanted more animals to spice up the gameplay. Although this game was supposed to be simple, we couldn't leave it at that.

[h3]We've added some animals that you can add to the game.[/h3]

[h3]Sheeps[/h3] - sheep, similar to a cow, eats everything, so it's good to keep them in the yard, but it is not required.

[h3]Horses[/h3] - Horses love a lot of space, but keep them away from crops.

[h3]Rabbits[/h3] - these appear when we have more crops. Rabbits eat our crops quickly, so it's worth chasing them quickly with your cat.

[h3]Cat[/h3] - A cat can live in your house and chase away the rabbits that eat your crops.

[h3]Dog[/h3] - a dog added to the house will chase away the sheep that eat the crops.



We hope you will enjoy the pack of new animals.

Now we will add more crops to make the game even more interesting. ;)
