Last Chance, Astropertors! Limited Demo Available Now!

Greetings Astroperators!

Due to popular demand (and also a need for a bit more testing), we’ve reactivated the demo and it is now LIVE!

From now until Monday at 11 am PDT, the demo will be playable for everyone so be sure to join while you can, and as always, join our Discord and leave us some feedback!

A few things to note with this build:

  • First, we've gotten some major bug fixes implemented that were reported to us from Steam Next Fest, this should make the gameplay experience smoother.
  • Next, up, no need to unlock anything! That's right, pick whatever skins, attachments, weapons, or Astroperators (the same 3) to customize your gameplay experience. Try all sorts of new builds and designs to see your favorite!
  • Lastly, no more spam! text chat and voice chat are disabled for this build so you can just enjoy the game without having to worry about anything else. We understand this may make teamwork a bit more complicated, we apologize for this inconvenience.
  • There is Gamepad support but please be warned this is still a WIP.


So suit up, grab your weapon of choice, and jump in!

We want to say thank you for your participation in the Steam Next Festival and the incredible support you have shown us during the event.

With that in mind and due to popular demand, we will be keeping the servers online for those to continue playing or to try the game out in case they missed it.

SNF Demo February 10th Update Notes!

Here is the changelog for the February 10th Update!

*New Content*

Game Modes

1. Added a special game mode- ‘Naval Boarding’, where players can only use the new double-barrel shotgun-TP82 with a 0-cooldown grapple for fast movement. In addition, in this mode, side-pods have unlimited spare bullets.

Maps

1. Added a new map, ‘Warehouse No.128’, in the TDM mode. In addition, for players who want to experience fast-paced indoor battles, we provide a unique filter setting for this map.
2. Added an exclusive map- ‘Space Museum’ to the new mode ‘Naval Boarding’, please note that this map is still a WIP.

Weapons

1. Added a new weapon, TP82, which is limited to the Naval Boarding game mode. (Some attachments may be unavailable)

*Bug Fixes*

Stability

1. Fixed various issues that caused the game to crash.

Optimization

1. Optimized the performance of the map OSS.
2. Optimized performance when loading visual effects.

Network

1. Optimized the network for when players are logging in.
2. Fixed some progression tracking issues.

Visuals

1. Fixed various visual issues on some weapons.
2. Fixed various collision issues of some models in the map OSS.

Changelog for February 8th

Here are the fixes and improvements that were made with the February 8th update!

* Gameplay *
1. Fixed issues where the score summary debriefs weren't performed after a match ended.
2. Fixed issues where the progression in challenges wasn't counted correctly
3. Fixed issues with mission progression display abnormalities
4. Fixed damage issues that some GSW-SG accessories experienced
5. Improved the Observer Cam view in Purge mode.


* Game Settings *
1. Added a "Content Filter" mode to the main menu with options to disable text chat and assign virtual names to players to prevent issues when live streaming or recording content
2. The "F" Key can be swapped with a different key now within the "Mouse & Keyboard" settings
3. Disabled voice chat within the client (instead of server-side) to allow it to be re-enabled at a later date
4. Expanded the "Depth of Field" settings under "Graphics Quality" allowing players to switch on/off the weapon shadow casting

* Game System *
1. Fixed various crash-related issues.

* Customization *
1. Fixed the incorrect camera position issue in the “HR & ARMORY” menu that causes unusual dark shadows.
2. Fixed various render issues found in some 3D assets.
3. Fixed a problem where weapon skins couldn't be successfully equipped in some cases

* VFX *
1. Optimized the invulnerability overlay on spawning/respawning (The green-doted overlay).
2. Fixed an issue where the bullet hole effect is not cleared after a player respawns.
3. Optimized the loading time for some visual effects.
