Street Fighter 6 wants to teach "the fun of fighting games"

Street Fighter 6 is almost here, and the fighting game revamp is aiming to appeal to both new fans and single-player gamers in a big way. So if you're anticipating the Street Fighter 6 release date, Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto has been talking about how the studio wants to cater to new fans, but still find that balance between them and the hardcore players, too.

Street Fighter 6 World Tour is basically Yakuza yet somehow sillier

A strange thing occurred about halfway through my Street Fighter 6 preview session. I'm told that what I've experienced in World Tour will be made available to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners two days later. Of course, this means you may already know about every part of the character creation process, what the first few fights entail, and have a sense of Metro City's version of Times Square. However, I have seen the glorious nonsense that lies beyond.

The free demo for Street Fighter 6 is available now! Learn basic battle mechanics from the Tutorial, practice Luke and Ryu’s moves in the Character Guide, and dip a toe into the first few moments of World Tour where you can create your customized avatar. The demo will give a small peek at the gargantuan experience that is the full game, but your custom avatar appearance can be transferred to the full game of the same platform once it releases.
