This is a huge update and one giant step forward for the team, but our adventure is far from over. Even after the 1.0 release, we're going to continue adding content for our players to enjoy.

Our next playable character in line, Jett, was scheduled to appear in the last quarter of 2021. Our goal was to prioritize improving the core game system, so the Jett update has been postponed to sometime after the 1.0 release. Dev Note #3

Hello everyone!

We are now finishing up on Chapter 5.
In Chapter 5, the Undercity Resistance is heading towards the elevator to go to Esperanza.The enemies featured in this Chapter will be slightly more powerful than those from previous Chapters.

Experience combat with additional stages and the Chapter boss: Esperanza gatekeeper cyclops.







Two new NPCs were added, and their role is to help the character progress in the direction you want. We are aware that the game’s current progression system is similar each time, so the purpose of this update is to diversify and make character progression even more distinct. Of course, this is also a key part of roguelike genre games. For example, it could be progression that sacrifices Normal DMG to maximize Skill DMG.



    [h3]#New NPC 1 - EO[/h3]
    Unlock by paying Cube currency to Jazz Bar Armstrong to increase Friendship.

  1. Equip one of the 3 main weapon cores in EO’s lab located on the first floor underground in the Jazz Bar to start the game.



  2. Main Weapon Core Upgrade
    • When a stage is in progress, Roses can be used to upgrade the weapon core up until level 5 by meeting EO.
    • Acquire a powerful buff each at level 3 and 5.




  3. Core Upgrade
    • When a stage is in progress, Roses can be used to change the properties of cores owned by meeting EO.

    NPC located in front of Hotel Halona now sells [Mysterious Dice].

  • The dice provides 1 buff and 1 side effect.

    • Increase Normal ATK by ( )%. (1%~99%)

    • Increase Dash ATK by ( )%. (1%~99%)
      : Applied to all attacks resulting from dashing. (thunderbolt, chain lightning, explosions etc.)

bug fix v.0.41

  • Fixed the bug where restocked item images would sometimes fail to load after buying out all the items from the store.
  • Fixed the bug where "Revived!" text was being displayed upon entering Plantos's Chamber.
  • Characters were being revived to full HP instead of the amount determined by the level of "Resurrection" passive. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed the bug where the UI wasn't being displayed immediately when operating the port.
  • Fixed the bug where Ice Core's Dash Ice Shards didn't fall if the skill was used on a platform close to the ceiling.
  • Fixed the bug where advancing to the next stage after gaining Level 5 Spin Blade spawned only one spin blade.
  • Fixed the bug where Level 5 Furious Wave blades spawned on the player's character. They spawn where the enemy was if you kill it with Chain Rake.

Dev Note #2

Hello everyone!

It has been a while since the last dev letter. We are reading every feedback from all the players. They have been a huge help to the development process, and we’re working hard to polish the game before the official release.

Right now, we are working on Chapter 5, the next chapter of the Plantos lab. Chapter 5 includes stages that lead up to the giant lift, the very last step to Esperanza. More powerful enemies will emerge, and players will encounter the guardian of Esperanza, the gigantic robot ‘Cyclops’ for the boss battle.













We are also reforming the core system of the game: the risk level and related contents.


1. The risk level increase system will be reformed due to the imbalance.
: The risk level only increases when the player activates the port or during the boss battle.
: The risk level will not rapidly increase with the normal battles.
: The risk level can be altered during the normal battle with the player’s choice.

There will be 3 more map objects that will provide rewards in return for increased risk levels.
2-1) Dangerous Gearbox
: The risk level increases by 1 when you open the Gearbox, in the chance of 60%
: The chance of legendary gear is high for the Gearbox.
: New legendary gears are added.

2-2) Healing Pack
: The risk level increases by 1 when you activate the healing pack in the chance of 60%
: Random HP increase by 60~120

2-3) Max Delivery
: Max from hotel Halona delivers food for you.
: When you call Max, the risk level increases by 1 in the chance of 60%
: You will obtain random food from ★2 ~ ★4






Monster reinforcement according to the risk level
The existing system increased the abilities of the elite monsters according to the level of risk and to appear with one of the skills they can acquire at random.

Now, whenever the risk level rises, the reinforcement factor of monsters is set at random. Reinforcement factors according to the risk level can be found in the UI.


[Enemy buff list as the danger level goes up (subject to updates)]
- The normal enemies’ DMG increases by 20% ~ 40%.
- The maximum HP of the normal enemies increases by 20% ~ 40%.
- Elite's DMG increases by 20% ~ 40%.
- Elite's maximum HP increases by 20% ~ 40%.
- Boss' DMG increases by 20% ~ 40%.
- Boss's maximum HP increases by 20% to 40%.
- If the boss's HP falls below 50%, he will be invincible for 10 seconds once.
- Restores 5% of the maximum HP every second from less than 50% of the boss' HP.
- The boss' DMG increases by 10% every 10 seconds after his appearance. (Maximum DMG: 300%)
- [Resurrection] Elite will appear. When the elite's HP reaches zero, it recovers to its maximum HP once with a 50% chance.
- [Trace of Poison] Elite will appear. Creates poisonous smoke in the path. Players in the smoke get poisoned
- [Corpse explosion] Elite will appear. When the elite's HP reaches zero, it explodes a while later and damages the area.
- [Minefield] Elite will appear. When the elite's HP reaches zero, three bombs are thrown.
- [Echo of the Coldness] Elite will appear. When the elite's HP reaches zero, a cold air explosion occurs and freezes the player in the area.
- [Executor] Elite will appear. Every time another elite around the elite dies, they gain 20% of DMG and HP.
- [Energy Combustion] Elite will appear. As you get closer to the elite, you lose 20 energy every second.
- [Death Resistance] Elite will appear. When the elite's HP reaches zero, it gets revived and moves for a certain period of time.

※ [Death Resistance] Elite was a deleted ability because it was unreasonable to attack the player without being damaged when its HP reaches zero. If an elite with this ability appears, it will be modified to be affected by abnormal conditions such as rigidity, stun, and inactivity buffs, so the players won’t have to run away as they did before.





The risk level system was in the game as a device that gives tension to the game and forces faster choices, but the feedback players have sent made us realize that it did not function in the direction we wanted.

The updated risk-level system eliminates existing shortcomings and ensures strong compensation for overcoming them, creating a sense of challenge. We will make sure that the element of luck can be applied in this process according to the genre of rogue-lite. This is to ensure that the risk level and related content can proceed in a different way in every play without getting bored.
