#Display Option & DualShock Controller Support

We’ve seen that some of you have had issues with the Display Option & DualShock Controller Support. We’ve now figured out the underlying issue though and are trying our best to resolve it.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you had during gameplay.

1. Steam Cloud Support
   After this patch, your save data will be synced with the Steam Cloud while playing Blade Assault.
   
2. Fixed bug regarding stage rewards
   
3. Cannot change key settings for menu
   This is a temporary measure to fix some bugs. We’re preparing a new patch with this issue fixed, so you’ll be able to use any key settings in the next patch, please look forward to it.
   
4. Fixed bug with save data
   
5. Edited some text

Thank you again for the bug reports and feedback. We’ve looked into most of them and it has been a great help!

The only reason we started in Early Access is to get more feedback from our players from different regions.
We’ll keep trying our best to polish Blade Assault and create the best version of it that we can.

Below are the bugs that we fixed with this patch.

1. Changed Save Path
   Before : %userprofile%/AppData/Local/Temp/TeamSuneat/BladeAssault
   After : %userprofile%/AppData/LocalLow/TeamSuneat/BladeAssault
   
2. Fixed bug where some antivirus software has occasionally deleted saves of the game. We’ve changed the file path to resolve the issue. So don’t be worried, your savings won’t disappear anymore!
   
3. Controller D-PAD Support
   
4. Fixed minor bugs

We just released a patch to fix a few key bugs.

1. Fixed bug where the game wouldn’t leave the start-up screen
   
2. Fixed bug where button remapping or resetting wasn’t working properly for controllers
   
3. Fixed bug where the record of assault levels cleared wasn’t being shown
   
4. Fixed bug where weapon transformations didn’t appear on list
   
5. Adjusted balancing of chain lightning
   Cooltime : 0.2 secs -> 0.4 secs
   Basic Damage : 15 -> 30
   
6. Fixed some in-game text that was displayed incorrectly
   

Please note that we’re currently working on other improvements and bug fixes, so keep an eye out for updates.

Thanks to your support we finally launched the Early Access version of Blade Assault on June 7th!

Please see below for a few key details to keep in mind.

1. Early Access Launch Discount
- This is a golden opportunity to purchase Blade Assault at 15% off!

2. “My Character Traits aren’t working”
- Every character trait can be upgraded, but only one per level can be chosen and activated.
- Try out different combinations of Character Traits to see what works best for you!

3. “How much content does the Early Access version have?”
- Currently, you can play up until Chapter 4. But don’t worry, we’ll be adding a ton of new content going forward!

4. “Can I play with different characters?”
- Only one character is currently playable, but we’re currently working on adding several more!

- Future characters will also bring with them new weapons!

5. “The game won’t start properly.”
- If you participated in the FGT or had access to the game before launch, your save file may be corrupted. If that’s the case, we recommend deleting your save file and restarting the game.
