Regarding user feedback & upcoming news!
Hello gamers!
We’ve recently, for the first time ever, exposed our game to you with our demo build and CBT!
It was exciting for us to finally hear your thoughts on our game.
That being said, we have read each and every one of your feedback and are grateful that you took the time to deliver your feedback to us.
Our team has since had multiple discussions on user feedback and wanted to share with you what will change thanks to your collective voices.
Feedback

I don’t know what to do! I’m lost!
Our game was designed so that you need to kill a certain minimum number of enemies in the map to activate the teleporter. However, there were many feedback saying that this was not well enough conveyed through gameplay. We are planning to make changes so that users will instantly & intuitively understand how to play and proceed to the next stage via gameplay.
There were also a lot of users that didn’t know ‘Kil’ (the main character) has his own basic move commands such as a ‘dive’ move and a ‘parry’ move. We’re planning to address this by adding a tutorial later on in development.
Regarding gameplay
There were valid criticisms that if you didn’t save enough Red Gems by the time you meet ‘Hank’ you just had to miss out on an opportunity to pay for his awesome upgrades. We completely agree with this feedback and have already made changes so that the upgrades that ‘Hank’ provides are dirt cheap to pay for.
We’ve also came across a bunch of feedback regarding balance issues/concerns. Balance is something that we are always thinking about, and probably something we’ll never be able to get out of our heads. Please continue sending us your thoughts on the overall state of balance in our game, while there is never a “fix-all” solution, we can make better changes with more data & feedback.
Bugs...bugs...bugs!
We are terribly sorry for those of you that weren’t able to play the game for a while due to bugs. While we were able to make relatively quick fixes, we apologize for the inconvenience and loss of your precious time. To be completely honest, this is not something we can promise. But rest assured that QA is never something we take lightly.
Crowdfunding on Kickstarter
Moving forward: we are planning to make more changes and add more contents into the game for the single goal of making the game more FUN TO PLAY!
Speaking of us wanting to keep developing, we’ve been planning and waiting for the right time to start our Kickstarter campaign and we’re thinking that it’s going to be REAL soon.
So if you want to grab an early Steam key for the game & support us during the moment it counts the most to us, we would greatly appreciate it! We’re also planning to have some merch goodies and a chance for some of you to participate in some light designing of in-game contents with us.

Thank you so much for being part of the pioneering members for Blade Assault.
We promise to do our part and keep working to make the game awesome for you guys.
