The witching hour is near, the cold night’s air begins to creep in. The streets are covered in pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns and unseen creatures lurking in the dark! It’s that time of year where it’s fair to scare and cool to be creeped out!

3D platforming cult (literally!) hero Kao The Kangaroo is getting into spirt of things with a bunch of new costumes to honour the Halloween mood. From takes on iconic monsters of page and screen, to new devilish designs, Kao is ready for a Trick r’ Treat in the Oh Well! DLC pack!

Not only will Kao be styling and profiling in some new threads, but he’ll facing a whole host of new challenges. Diving into a new set of Eternal Wells, Kao’s skill be tested with some of the trickiest levels he’s ever faced! Curl up with a pumpkin spice latte and dive into the Oh Well! DLC pack this Halloween season!

You might not make smart moves, but at least you can dress like you do! Containing two full outfits (made up for four items) Kao can now dress with that big brain energy or mix it up to add a dash of class to an outfit, all without costing a thing!

The MEGA PATCH is now LIVE. This patch is 1.3 and 1.4 combined and fixes the following points -

*A bulk of the audio bugs have been squashed!


* We dealt with achievements not unlocking. Your trophy cabinet shall now be filled!

* The save system has been altered. Your crystal count will not change after Kao’s knocking out (we don’t want to say death, it sounds a bit grim doesn’t it?)

* Implementation of the Y axis inversion - We’re sorry this took so long, but happy to finally get it to you!

* Implemented a save icon that appears during gameplay - The future is NOW

* Fixed a number collision problems

* Addressed a number of performance drops

* Squashed a number of minor bugs

As you know, Kao The Kangaroo has entered the Steam Summer Sale with 10% off the game. We've been enjoying the sales too, with a few games of Age of Empires 2 in the office and trying to figure out if we bought that one obscure FPS in our library this year, last year or three years before that!

Additionally, we would like to layout our roadmap for Kao The Kangaroo. This includes plans for future DLC and also what we are targeting in our future patches.
