The time has finally come when we can say that Kao The Kangaroo is officially releasing May 27th, 2022!

We are extremely excited to finally put the date out there. We know you’ve been asking ever since Kao’s return was announced. Additionally, we’d like to share with you the pricing -

Digital: $29.99/£24/99/€29.99
RRP: $34.99/£29.99/€34.99

The physical version of Kao The Kangaroo will be released across North America and Europe, on Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. A physical PC version will be released in Europe, but will require Steam.

We can’t wait for you to finally get your paws on Kao’s latest adventure and experience our furry friend on a whole new level!

As ever, we promised to reduce the amount of posts on Steam, instead bundling recent info all together to avoid spam...so here we are again!

The Super Jump Edition is our special edition release in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary with our partner Cenega!

For those outside of those countries, we will have other editions launching, so keep your eyes peeled!

With Steam Nextfest coming to a close, the Kao The Kangaroo demo is no longer available.

First and foremost, we'd like to give you all a huge thank you for trying the demo. We're happy to give you the chance to get your hands on Kao's next adventure. Additionally, we'd like to thank you for leaving feedback. The amount of in-depth feedback we have received has been amazing. We're humbled you took the time to highlight things you liked, the things you did not like, and any bugs you found.

The fact a speed-running community spawned around the demo still blows us away!...even if that meant seeing the boomerang bug everyday ;)



It's not a PR gimmick. We really do read ALL of your feedback. Kao The Kangaroo would not be here without you, so your views are extremely important to us.
