Karma: The Dark World Is Coming To Next Fest!

Hello Citizens!

We told you that we'd have some exciting news for you, and last night in the Convergence Games Showcase we were pleased to announce that Karma: The Dark World is coming to Steam Next Fest on October 14th!
Watch our new trailer now to get glimpse of the challenges that lie ahead for you...
In 17 days you will be stepping into the shoes of Daniel Mcgovern, and taking on your first investigation as a Roam Agent, diving into the mind of an employee accused by Leviathan of treason - and tasked with finding the truth.

But how much of this is real? How reliable is the mind of a man broken by Leviathans iron fist? And should what lurks in the shadows of those memories be seen by anyone at all?

We'll leave that for you to decide...

Once more, thank you for all your support - and the team wishes you a productive, and wonderful weekend. Be sure to submit your bluebottle request forms wishlist the game and share with your friends! And follow us on our socials below.

Bringing Karma to G-Fusion & Fantastic Fest

Hello loyal citizens, we hope you've been enjoying your summer!

Behind the scenes we've been VERY busy with development (and preparing an exciting announcement or two that you'll be hearing about soon) - but that hasn't stopped us taking the time to visit a couple of gaming events and catch our fans in real life!

This weekend we took part in the GFusion event hosted in Beijing - and had a wonderful time introducing everyone to the dark world of Karma, with a booth designed to look like an office space that you will hopefully become intimately familiar with in the future...

Citizens who visited the booth were able to play the demo that we recently took to Gamescom and experiencing a brain dive first hand - stepping into the shoes of a ROAM agent, and then into the memories of a particularly dishevelled office worker.

And as always, Leviathan was there, watching and making sure they were paying attention!

At the same time, the Wired team were over in Texas as part of the Fantastic Fest, a show created by the organisers of Day of the Devs that celebrates the newest and best in film (and particularly cinematic) games!

We'll be able to share a little more from the Texas event with you soon - but for now, we'd like to thank everyone who has visited us at our in person events over the summer, whether it was in Beijing, Germany or the United States - it has been nerve wracking but SO gratifying to see people playing Karma in person for the first time, and we can't wait to see the rest of you do the same.

For those that haven't been able to play yet, worry not - more on that coming up - but for now we don't want you to leave empty handed, so here's a little sneak of some environments we've been making. We'll leave it up to your imagination what their purpose is for now..

(Don't tell anyone I shared those with you though, Leviathan has eyes EVERYWHERE - and they don't take lightly to people sharing their secrets. I've heard rumour recently of an employee archive that someone has access to, and that simply logging into it puts you on their radar - do no)

They look great don't they! We can't wait to hear your suggestions for what goes on in them :D

Anyway - this is just a little 'We're still here, we're still working, and thank you for all the support', message from the Teams at Pollard, Wired and Gamara - and a little hint to maybe keep your eyes peeled for any digital events this week, might be some exciting news for you all!

In the meantime, you can still (help us) support Leviathan by wishlisting the game on Steam, following our socials, and of course, sharing the game with your friends! Have a wonderful week, and you'll be hearing from us soon!

KARMA: The Dark World - Hope | Hope(less)

Karma: The Dark World took OVER 2024's Summer Game Fest in LA! With two brand new trailers dropping during the Day of Devs and IGN live - plus media and specially invited guests being able to go hand on during Geoff Keighley's Play Days event and the Guerrilla Collective! Dropping two trailers for one game isn't easy - believe us, but we wanted to really showcase the world that Karma breaths in, and make gamers ask questions about the Leviathan Corporation and their Bureau of Thought. Releasing as two parts, each trailer is a mirror inverse of the other. Leviathan claims to have your best interests at heart, they say they are your friend, but is everything they profess to be true really what it seems?
