Good afternoon Agents
As mentioned in yesterdays blog, a HUGE thank you to all of you for playing a part in making Pollards first game, Wired's biggest day one launch EVER. It means so so much to everyone involved.
We wanted to share a few of the reviews that have been put out in the wild to let people who may still be on the fence read the opinions of folks (and of course let people who've already played see how close they match up with their own!) But before that, a little housekeeping.
Upcoming patch
Thanks to everyone who's been submitting bugs and issues, we've been replying, tracking, and finding workarounds as quickly as timezones allow. We are testing a patch that we hope to deploy at the start of the week to fix the immediate issues - and will keep you updated once it's live. In the meantime, We're updating the FAQ post with any current workarounds - so take a look there before new submissions, if it's not listed, feel free to submit!
Upcoming Features
We teased it a bit yesterday, but we have some exciting feature updates to come that we'll be talking about soon. We're also taking note of ALL your suggestions in the steam forums and discussions (photo mode requests, key binding and the ability to skip cutscenes on a second playthrough for achievement hunters for example) and talking with the developers about what we can support and when. So PLEASE if you have an idea you think would be neat, or simply some feedback - don't be quiet about it - we see it all!
Please leave a review
Whilst we're about to share some of the press thoughts and opinions here - which are important for people NOT aware of the game to learn about it - the reviews we really care about are YOURS, the good AND the bad.
Good reviews help the visibility of the game on Steam and help other gamers make better purchasing decisions with their hard earned cash. Bad reviews help us identify where improvements need to be made if you REALLY didn't vibe with the game - and to therefore make updates that are better for EVERYONE (all we ask is that if it is a negative review you are clear about what it was that didn't sit well with you so we can take steps to potentially rectify it for you :D )
Whilst we've made noise about this being our biggest launch ever - we are an indie publisher, and Pollard are an indie team launching their first game. Every review, every comment, every purchase, every wishlist, every trailer share, every screenshot, every stream is vital - they all add up to the visibility that makes a difference between someone else deciding to try the game or not, so for those that have done any of the above - thank you. For those that haven't, consider reviewing or sharing the game with your friends or favourite streamers - it is worth its weight in gold.

Gamingbolthttps://gamingbolt.com/karma-the-dark-world-review-what-are-memoriesKarma: The Dark World is ultimately an interesting experience. It’s the rare horror game where, while you’re not killing things and counting bullets by the buckets, you’re also not focused entirely on hiding... Pair that with some deliciously-thick atmosphere courtesy of excellent visuals and audio, as well as an intriguing story that’s being told in a compelling way, and you get a horror experience that is well worth your time.New York Timeshttps://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/28/arts/karma-dark-world-expelled-centum-review.html
"The brilliant Karma: The Dark World is one of the most aggressively disturbing horror games released in some time. Throughout 12 hours of gameplay, Karma’s creators have taken many inspirations — including BioShock and “Severance” — to the next level with creepily surreal and bizarrely utopian set pieces. Here, the looping terror of Guillermo del Toro’s and Hideo Kojima’s P.T."PcGames.dehttps://www.pcgames.de/KARMA-The-Dark-World-Spiel-75140/Tests/Der-Psycho-Thriller-ist-mein-absoluter-Ueberraschungs-Hit-des-Jahres-1469093/Karma is a story about philosophy, religion, and culture, about the essence of humanity. Finally, I'd like to leave you with something unrelated to the game itself, but something you should return to after experiencing it for yourselfGame8https://game8.co/articles/reviews/karma-the-dark-world-review
