The anticipation is building as we enter the last calendar month of KARMA: The Dark Worlds release, so we thought we would take a little look back on what has brought us here.
Back in April 2021 we unveiled and announced KARMA: The Dark World was in development. We thought we would have the game launched by Q3 2022, but creating something as exciting as KARMA takes time.
In September of 2021, we showed our first trailer at the Tokyo Game Show.

For nearly two years we huddled away creating the core experience of KARMA.
Then we moved on to April 2023. When we joined forces with our publisher Wired Productions. They saw something special in Karma: The Dark World. With It evoking, emotions and provoking players to think, feel and question everything. We wanted to create an intense cinematic experience with our 'Down the Rabbit hole.' trailer, which announced our partnership.

Whilst we were beavering away polishing the game, we were fortunate to be invited to the Summer Game Fest in Los Angelos in June 2024. Where we revelead two trailers diring the Day of the devs and IGN LIVE events.
We wanted to really highlight the world that Karma lies in, and make gamers ask questions about the Leviathan Corporation and their Bureau of Thought. Releasing as two parts, the HOPE & HOPE(LESS) trailers were a mirror inverse of the other. Leviathan claiming to have your best interests at heart, saying they are your friend, but is everything they profess to be true really what it seemed?

We then revealed as a worldwide exclusive via IGN in August, ahead of the games first ever hands on at Gamescom with the Core Memory Trailer.

As we ramped up the polish in the game, we wanted the whole world to experience Karma, so we brought the game to G-Fusion Fest in Beijing & Fantastic Fest in Texas and released the Convergence Trailer.
