First Session is now playable on Steam Deck

I'm pleased to announce that First Session is now playable on Steam Deck.

This game sometimes shows mouse, keyboard, or non-Steam-Deck controller icons (this issue has just been raised and will be fixed in a coming patch, so as to be fully "Steam Deck Verified")

First Session has been restored

Dear Members of the Pack,

Last year, I took the decision to withdraw the initial version of First Session because it no longer corresponded to what Wild Dose was. Leaving this version freely available was damaging the game's image, especially with the French Independent Video Game Cup taking place, for which we were one of the finalists.

I'm pleased to announce that First Session has been restored and is now freely playable in its original version, as it was released in 2021. You'll be able to experience :

A Fresh Air session with Nora, your artificial intelligence
The discovery of the Void and an encounter with the Capetian
A flash appearance by a member of the Pack when you arrive in Wild Dose

For those who wish, you can also enjoy the DLC “First Session Original Remastered”, which contains, in addition:

The continuation of your adventure in Wild Dose
An immersive-sim section with quests to complete in the city of Eleftheria

These sections were developed in the transitional phase when I thought the game would continue in this direction, before starting Wild Dose on a sound footing. By purchasing this DLC, you'll be able to enjoy original content that won't be present in the final game, while supporting the development of the game itself.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have enjoyed this universe and continue to encourage me.

A word about the DLC

The original version of First Session has been withdrawn as it no longer corresponds to what Wild Dose is after 2 years of work. Leaving this version freely available was detrimental to the game's image, especially with the French Independent Video Game Cup currently taking place, for which we are one of the finalists.

The new demo should have replaced the prologue this month, but production has been severely delayed due to serious medical problems.

As stated in its description, the DLC is there for those who wish to support the development of Wild Dose, it's a form of "supporter Pack" for fans, containing in addition to the Original Prologue exclusive achievements.

The aim of this operation was never to make money, but to offer a special counterpart to those who wished to support this project (if we were interested in money, we would never have tried to survive in the video game industry and we would have kept our previous jobs).

I apologize for the late communication. It was a mistake on my part due to the fact that we're spending more time at the hospital than at home at the moment.

I hope this message is enough to explain the situation. For "achievement hunters", there's no obligation to buy the DLC, you can simply remove the game from your Steam library by following that link: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
