Our Biggest Priorities
• PS5 Demo Save Data Transfer functionality is still a work in progress.
• We want to add a "Fast-Forward" (by holding a certain key) to some minigames so that they can be played and progressed through more quickly.
• D-pad issues for movement
New Music Uploads
We've added a couple new tracks from the 158-track OST to YouTube. Come give these bangers a listen! Some of these tracks are still scheduled to premiere in a few days.

Patch Notes v1.35

Shujinkou v1.35
Polish / Quality of Life
• Jump to Requester: Now, you can press Z / Square / X (Xbox) on your device to jump to a Youkyuu (quest) requester from the Youkyuu Player Menu if you are in the same town as them, and they are available to interact with. This is a huge quality of life feature for critics and players who have said that the side quests were tedious to handle while navigating towns.
• Jump to Time Changer: In a similar vein, if the requester is not available during the current time of day and you have already unlocked the time changing event, you can quickly change the time by pressing Z / Square / X (Xbox) on your input device.
• When leaving a full menu or submenu in the Party Menu, the last selected button will now properly select, greatly improving UI navigation flow.
• Changing the time of day changes in towns now happens roughly 1 to 1.5 seconds quicker than before as a result of code optimization.
• It now only takes 1 second to skip dialogue now (reduced from 2 seconds).
Bug Fixes
• Fix incorrect orientation of a trap in Labyrinth 7.
• Fix mixed up audio files for one kanji-based Kanban in Labyrinth 8.
• Fix spoiler for an Ishi in Chapter Two.
• Fix issue with Kanban pages appearing more than once in the Ikijibiki shop.
• Fix issue with being able to cycle tabs in Kurozushi when a confirmation dialog is visible.
• Fix lack of plurals for certain item types in the Item Menu.
• Fix chance of potential hanging in dialogue under certain conditions if scroll speed is set to Skip.
Miscellaneous
• Clarified some vague instructions in dialogue for the Youkyuu: Extermination Tactics.
• Important! Reduced number of tutorials and cleaned up the wording for some tutorials.
• Shujinkou's official website has recently been updated too. Come check it out! Shujinkou Official Website

Patch Notes v1.34

Shujinkou v1.34
Polish / Quality of Life
• Button Coloring Fixes - For the primary Modal UI, No/Cancel-related buttons remain red when selected, whereas other Confirm/Yes-related buttons are now green.
• Pressing Back / Circle when on the "Cancel" "No" or last button in the modal UI will cancel the UI, improving UI navigation flow and speed.
• UI Flow - Accepting Youkyuu from the Youkyuu Menu in the Party Menu now defaults to "Yes" instead of "No."
• UI Flow - Entering a town from the Nation Map will default to "Yes" instead of "No."
• UI Flow - Entering a labyrinth with selectable areas from the Nation Map will default to "Enter" instead of "Back."
• UI Flow - When leaving a town, the confirmation UI will default to "Yes" instead of "No."
• UI Flow - When trying to escape a battle through the Nigeru system, the confirmation UI will default to "Yes" instead of "No."
• UI Flow - When going through a two-way shortcut in labyrinths, the confirmation UI will default to "Yes" instead of "No."
Bug Fixes
• Steam Cloud saves now work properly.
• Fix potential soft-lock in the second half of Meiro 6 (Labyrinth 16 / Post Game).
• Fix a couple of reported typos.
• Fixed the akuma's "death cloud's" extra frame, which would appear for a split second after the akuma's defeat, looking a bit strange.
Miscellaneous
• Removed a redundant Arawasu tutorial.
• Added a new tutorial design image "Ontological Weaknesses" for the Kanakae tutorial (Slide 2) and made the explanation more intuitive.
Our Biggest Feature / Fix Priorities
• PS5 Save Data Transfer from Demo to Full Game.
• We are still working on optimizing the PS4 version.
• We are working on a fix for playing on ultra-wide monitors. 🟡 Update 🟡 -- Estimated to be handled in 10-15 calendar days as extra time is needed to test the fix on a real ultra-wide monitor.
• Investigating the Tsuri (Fishing) minigame input issue on some PCs. 🟡 Update 🟡 -- This may have to do with disconnecting / reconnecting the controller mid-game or something similar.
• Loading Lore Menu in the Party Menu (Lexicon) is in development.
• Adding a "Fast-Forward" key to some minigames so that they can be played and progressed through more quickly.
• D-pad movement is not implemented smoothly, The L-stick is a perfectly fine input style (and the intended one) that you can work with while the D-pad implementation is being worked on.

Our earliest adopters (primarily on PS5) are nearing the end of the main campaign (including side content) at 150-200 hours—crazy! We will continue to listen to feedback and work to perfect the Shujinkou experience. Stay tuned for exciting announcements on free additional content soon!

Happy dungeon-crawling! ✨
