Dear Owners,

We’ve just released a new patch, now available to all Blooming Business: Casino Steam players.

This update includes loads of important balancing and mission objective improvements that we’ve been working on, based on player feedback and analytics.

It also includes some general improvements and bug fixes listed below:

• Sandbox hardcore mode difficulty has been increased
  
• You can now get a loan in Sandbox mode, and failing to repay it leads to a game over.
  
• Fixed an issue with the number of clients sometimes exceeding the selected limit in sandbox mode
  
• Fixed an issue with the “Employee Happiness training” research effect being applied without it having been unlocked in the creative mode (sandbox mode)
  
  

• Improved visual effect on bribed clients and employees
  
• Pressing the 'Cancel' button now cancels all actions taken during Area Edit mode
  
• Added objective progress counter to applicable levels that lacked it
  
• Mobster type clients now visits the casino during level 3, Welcome to Welfaradise!
  
• Research tooltips now remain on-screen when gaining insight points
  
• Dialogue display speed is now based on text length in Asian languages
  
  

• Fixed an issue with tutorial controls not reflecting the proper keyboard layout on non-QWERTY keyboards
  
• Fixed an issue with tooltips from dialogues options remaining on the cursor
  
• Fixed an issue when VIPs sometimes didn't leave the casino when they should, sometimes blocking mission progress
  
• Fixed an issue with placing doors outside of walls when editing the size of the area
  
• Glass wall textures are now properly rendered in building mode

The Blooming Business Team

We’ve just released a new patch for Blooming Business: Casino; this patch is now available on Steam for all players and covers the following improvements:

• In level 1, “Insert Coin”, we added one mission in the tutorial to teach about how to rotate objects
  
• In level 2 “A Cog in the Mob” and 3 “Welcome to Welfaradise”, missions asking to check specific client types information is now validated as well if the client type panel is accessed via shortcuts
  
• In level 3 “Welcome to Welfaradise”, the mission "Get bouncers to sort cheaters at the entrance" task is now completed after simply hiring a Bouncer
  
• In level 6 “See You Later InvestiGator!”, fixed an issue with the "Call Jim" marketing effort massively raising expenses. This research grants the casino with infinite electricity! Bonus lasts 4 days.
  
• Fixed an issue which prevented in rare instances from giving orders to Pit Bosses
  
• In both campaign and sandbox modes, fixed layout issues in some levels where camera bounds were too tight and didn't allow to freely navigate in the whole level space
  
• In the sandbox mode: fixed an issue that was preventing some decorations from being unlocked in endless mode
  

Balancing improvement and mission clarity rework

• We also worked on various balancing improvements in all of 11 campaign missions’ levels to ease mission flow clarity.
  

Our team continues to work hard on improving the game based on player feedback and analytics. A massive thank you to our lovely community for their feedback and support, it’s helping us greatly with prioritizing work and improving the game for everyone to enjoy even more!

Thank you for everyone for your continuous support, we’re so thrilled of all the feedback and love we’ve received since launch.

Please find below a summary that covers all the issues we’ve addressed in this Patch #2, available now for all Blooming Business: Casino players on Steam.

• Made 'Creative' the default option in sandbox mode menu. As a reminder, there are two ways to play the Sandbox:
  
  • "Creative", choose between all the different possible casinos from the campaign levels. Set your difficulty, money, number of clients etc. Everything is unlocked from the start. You can choose the client types and VIPs you want and freely build and decorate as you wish.
    
  • "Endless", For those who want a bit more challenge. Choose your starting casino, set your difficulty, money, number of clients. Beware, here, you will have to unlock the research tree to have access to all the management bonuses, items, etc.
• Level finished / Game over vault now shows the correct value
  
• Fixed an issue where the game was freezing when exiting the Mission to the City Map
  
• Fixed a crash that was happening in 'The Cozyno' level for some users
  
• Fixed spawn condition descriptions on the casino client type information screen
  
• Fixed various Pit Boss related issues including:
  
  • The 'Lounge Desk' menu can now be accessed after the user starts again the mission while a Pit Boss is executing an order
    
  • ‘Pit Boss' floor assignment stays the same when they move between the floors
