The Twilight Wars game has changed significantly this year. There have been a number of important events, e.g., the publisher Valkyrie Initiative has joined. Also, our team expanded. UI specialists help to implement many ideas about the interface development in the game. You can see how the game has changed in the screenshots below. Twilight Wars has a lot of animations; we also worked a lot not only on the visual part of the game, but also on the sound and music; game designers are constantly thinking about new features and how to diversify the gameplay.
This year the game took part in major gamedev events: Unreal Engine Dev Contest 2021, Indie Cup Celebration, Game Carnival and WN Events. We represented Twilight Wars at the pitch of game projects at HSBI and DevGAMM. Every day we are trying to improve the project and preparing to launch the demo version.

We are Shi, AI of the Triple-A base. Today our system is exceptionally active for executing multiple tasks, a state similar to «happiness» if translated into your language. This is because Valkyrie Initiative joined us to recover the Three-A base, people often refer to these auxiliary members as publishers. They will do their best to promote Twilight Wars so that even more people will know about our base and agents.

Comrade Bear Games will step by step immerse you in the Twilight Wars universe.
Today we will show and tell you about the main character of the game - AI Shi. It’s created to manage the Triple-A base.
Shi plays a key role in Twilight Wars - they are constantly in touch with the player, help him with advice, and in turn wait for advice from the player. A lot depends on what behaviour pattern you choose in dealing with Shi.
Shi is not a stereotyped artificial intelligence - it is an identity with its own interests, questions to the world and to people, patterns and way of thinking. For example, they chose the pronoun “we” for themselves, since they have no gender and do not want to attach themselves to the common notion.

“… actually, the requirements for being the head of the Agency are beyond human capabilities. Therefore, we made a decision ... to create Shi.

So ladies and gentlemen, I’m proud to present to you Spy Intelligence - the most advanced AI at present. It’s based on a quantum supercomputer, its power exceeds the combined power of ICB and Takeda, and the best employees of my corporation and the whole world were involved in its development.
I didn’t play the hypocrite when I said that my creation makes me proud. It possesses all the skills that I spoke about earlier: Shi is able to coordinate thousands of operations, and at all levels - from setting tasks and briefing to preparing equipment and directly attaining objectives, to support the Agency's employees physically and provide them with psychological assistance, has access to a huge number data and the ability to instantly analyze them.
With all of the above, the Shi is not a soulless machine. Its identity matrix has been created on the basis of several people whose names I cannot name, but believe me - these people gave Shi their best qualities. At the same time, it doesn’t suffer from a plurality of identity - Shi is a complete full individual. In addition, we have laid in its basic program a set of ethical norms that will actually humanize it a lot.
Therefore ladies and gentlemen, Shi will become the heart of the mechanism we have created - the Agency, and our work ends there. We are making way for a new flawless union - a symbiosis of human and machine.”

Today we remain under active Twilight Wars development. We are getting one step closer to the release date every day.

It is worth noting that Comrade Bear Games has already taken part in a large game development competitions such as Unreal Engine DEV Contest 2020, where we received the award for “Belka Games Choice”;

INDIE CUP W'21, where our game was nominated for BEST UNREAL ENGINE GAME and BEST ART;

Twilight Wars also won the HSBI Narrative in games 2021 competition for Best Franchise Ready by Mytona and Best Game Scenario by Belka Games.

According to these results it’s far more likely that you will approve our game!

We are not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved and will take part in future gamedev events.
