Dreamlight Valley update returns one of its most useful features

The next Dreamlight Valley update is almost upon us, and developer Gameloft reveals on Twitter that it includes the return of one of the most useful and commonly requested features. Already one of the best Disney games on PC, Disney Dreamlight Valley is shaping up for an exciting 2023 beginning with the arrival of Encanto's Mirabel and Frozen's Olaf in February, but its most recently announced change might be one of its most exciting.

We know you’re eagerly anticipating the launch of our next free, major content update – “A Festival of Friendship” – on February 16, 2023, but it’s always a good time for a little sneak peek. As part of today's Nintendo Direct, we gave a first look at what can be expected from a future Disney Dreamlight Valley update, coming this April.

Take a step through the castle’s next doorway and get ready to take in the beauty of the Lion King realm!

Not only will you get to immerse yourself in a brand new, mysterious storyline as you explore this realm, but it will also mark Simba and Nala’s introduction to Dreamlight Valley. And was that a new... recipe we spied? Only time will tell! With two more new faces to look forward to welcoming to your village, here's hoping Scar behaves himself...

In the meantime, get ready for “A Festival of Friendship” as our next update launches later this month on February 16, 2023, introducing Mirabel from Disney’s Encanto and Olaf from Disney's Frozen. As revealed in our recent roadmap, discover the secrets of the Frosted Heights biome and celebrate 100 years of Disney with the latest Star Path, among many more surprises! Then, looking ahead to April, stay tuned for more information about this future update, the Lion King realm, Disney Parks Star Path and – you guessed it – surprises galore!

Encanto is finally getting its moment in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Gameloft has been pushing out some consistently ace updates to Disney Dreamlight Valley, the best Animal Crossing-like you can get on PC. We already know features like multiplayer are in the works, and characters across the House of Mouse are being regularly added. A February 16 update will be the turn of Encanto's Mirabel and Frozen's Olaf to join the valley. As always, the developer has dropped some nice key art with details to pick out for the new patch...
