Peter is collecting vegetables!
Dear Diary,
Today was a big day for me on the farm! I learned how to collect vegetables!

It all started when my friend brought a big basket of carrots and lettuce into our pen. She showed us how to sniff out the freshest vegetables, and how to use our snouts to gently pull them out of the soil. It was so much fun!

At first, I wasn't sure if I was doing it right. I kept accidentally knocking over the lettuce with my snout, or digging up too much dirt with the carrots. But my friend was patient with me, and soon I got the hang of it. Before long, I had a big pile of vegetables in front of me. It was so satisfying to see the fruits of my labour! I even shared some of my bounties with my pig friends in the next pen over!

Here, look at us! It was so much fun!

Learning how to collect vegetables was such a great experience. I feel like I've learned a valuable skill, and I can't wait to put it into practice again. Who knows what other delicious treats I'll be able to dig up?

Have a great day!
Peter

Peter is making new friends!
Dear Diary,
Today was the most exciting day of my life! I've been trying to make new pig friends, and today I went on an incredible adventure with my new friend.

We started out just exploring the barnyard, snuffling around and looking for some fun. But then we heard some rustling in the bushes, and out popped two other pigs we hadn't seen before. They were from a neighboring farm.

George and Wilbur invited us to come with them on an adventure, and we eagerly agreed. They led us through the fields and over some fences until we found ourselves in a big open meadow.

Here, take a look at the picture! It’s me and George, and Wilbur is next to my human friend!

Going back to the meadow - it was the most beautiful place I'd ever seen! There were wildflowers everywhere, and a babbling brook ran through the middle of it. We spent the afternoon splashing in the water and running through the fields, just enjoying each other's company.

But then, as the sun started to set, we realized that we were lost. We had no idea how to get back to our farms! We huddled together, trying to come up with a plan.

"I know this area like the back of my hoof" said one of the new friends. "Follow me!"

And so we did, trotting after him through the fields and over the fences, until we finally found ourselves back at our respective farms. We said our goodbyes but promised to have another adventure soon.

It was the most amazing day, and I'm so grateful for my new friends. I can't wait to see what other adventures we'll have together.

Until next time!
Peter

Peter is learning how to use a saw!
Dear Diary,
Today was a very exciting and productive day for me. I learned a new skill that I never thought I would be able to do before - using a saw!

Grandpa had been teaching me how to use a saw for the past few days. He showed me how to hold it properly and how to make precise cuts. I was a bit nervous at first, as I had never held a saw before, but Grandpa was very patient with me and encouraged me every step of the way.

After some practice, I finally got the hang of it! I was able to make a straight and clean cut on a piece of wood that Grandpa had given me.

Here's a picture of me in action!

It was a great feeling to accomplish something new and useful. Grandpa even praised me and gave me a pat on the head for my hard work.

I have to admit, using a saw was a bit tiring. My little hooves were not used to holding something heavy for a long time, and I had to take breaks to rest them. But I didn't let that discourage me. I kept practicing until I got better.

Now that I know how to use a saw, I can help Grandpa with the farm work. I can build and fix things around the farm, and even help him with chopping wood for the winter. I feel proud of myself and grateful for Grandpa's guidance.

Today was a reminder that we can always learn new things, no matter how old we are or what kind of animal we are. With practice and patience, we can achieve anything we set our minds to!

Until next time!
Peter Curleytail the Pig.

Peter is catching butterflies!

Hello!

The other day, my friend told me that butterflies are very precious because they have a special way of transforming, they are very pretty, and… hard to catch. I offered that I can catch a few butterflies so that we can admire them together and ask them how it is to be a butterfly.

There are many interesting species of butterflies that look absolutely gorgeous. To catch them you don’t need much more than patience and a catching net. I figured also that, to catch butterflies you need to move like a butterfly, so I built two wings on my shoulders and moved dancingly and swinged around together with them.

My friend couldn’t stop laughing. I guess I eat a few too many pies to be so light and agile like them… In any case, I tried and tried and danced with butterflies swinging my net around them and I didn’t catch any! I couldn’t understand what I was doing wrong.

We sat with my friend on the grass and laughed about my wings and dances, at the same time I was sad that I couldn’t make my friend happy.

“It’s not about the butterflies” my friend said. “What matters is how much you tried to help me and how fun it was!”. And literally the second my friend said it, a big, blue butterfly with purple shades sat on my nose! I couldn't believe it!

“Hey, you won’t catch us if you force it! We come when we want to! Just come and ask if we have time! Anyway, have a good day!“ said the butterfly and flew off. Those butterflies are really magical!

That was one of the most amazing days I had on the farm, even though we ended up with our catching net empty.

I hope you also see butterflies when you come to visit!

Happy International Respect for Chickens Day!

Did you ever hear about International Respect for Chickens Day? We didn’t until very recently!

As we are huge fans of those beautiful animals, we decided to share a word with our community and dedicate this short post to chicken respect and appreciation!

In our game, we have many different types of cocks and hens that you can support by building them a beautiful coop, nests for their eggs and providing them with proper food. Those domesticated birds can be very sweet, cuddly, funny and adventurous, not only in our game but also in real life!

It is believed that there are approximately 25 billion chickens in the world! That is more than humans! It is also interesting to note that originally they were inhabited for cockfighting, and later for food.

These days it is very common to keep chickens in small households and farms. Unfortunately, because they are so popular they are also widely mistreated. We would like to remark on the beauty of those animals, who are the closest living relatives of Tyrannosaurus rex.

Look at him! Ain't he the cuttest thing in the world?

All the best to all the chickens today! 🐣
