Time to show you things that have changed in the last 6 months! In short: NEW DEMO!

The completion of the game is just around the corner. so today we have for you a glimpse at the updated GUI.

First, the two most important menus in the game: inventory and journal.



In inventory, you will find your items. The most frequently used tools, seeds, or plants that you want to have on hand can be placed in the top row. Then you can quickly select them, for example by using the mouse wheel or the number buttons without the whole inventory.

If you run out of space in your inventory, more items will be placed in the warehouse. You can get to it through the chests, which you can buy from the merchant or craft and set up in the game world.



In the journal, you will find information about current and completed quests and their status. You can also choose which tasks will be marked on the map, if possible.



Last but not least is the loading screen, where you'll find hints about life on the farm and in the valley when you start the game.

In Everdream Valley, there is more than one way to water your crops. You're a fan of running with a watering can? No problem, but if you want to harness wind energy and automate your watering, that's an option too.

Hello everybody!


Today we will introduce you to different systems of watering plants. Let's start with the fact that on your farm you can focus on different activities like raising animals doing story quests and exploring or growing crops. Plants, however, need water to grow.


If growing plants is just an additional task, you will only need a few beds and a watering can or water bottle. You can fill them in a well or any other body of water.

However, if you decide to farm large tracts of land, then you could use some automation.

To set up an automatic irrigation system you will need several things:

• a water pump
  
• a wind turbine
  
• garden hose
  
• electric cables
  
• bunch of garden sprinklers
  

1. The water pump can be set up at any water body.
   
2. Then with the help of electrical wires, you need to connect it to the wind turbine.
   
3. The next step will be to set up the garden sprinklers in the areas that you want them to be watered.
   
4. Finally, you connect the sprinklers to the pump using a garden hose and voila! electricity has arrived on your farm.
   

Both the electric wires and the garden hose are counted in meters so you can run them all over the farm.


Of course, you can also count on rain to quench the thirst of your plants as well as watering cans or sprinklers. However, it does not rain often enough, so in that case, you will have to wait a little longer for your crops.

When it rains your crops can also be attacked by snails, but more on that in the next post!

And why is it worth it? Besides the undeniable pleasure of having a fluffy orange companion, making a friendship with a cat in Everdream Valley has some very practical implications.



If we win its favor then the cat:

- Will inform you of sick animals nearby and even lead you to them!
- Will chase away birds, rats, and other pests if it sees them near your crops.
- Will help you with some of your storyline tasks.
- Provides you with a lot of entertainment while you explore the valley.

All these things the cat will do only if you are friends with it.
To get your cat to like you, you must, first of all, take the time to keep him entertained and play cat agility with him using a cat toy. To increase the level of your cat's friendship, you have to lead him through a series of obstacles within a certain time. When the cat proves its undeniable prowess with your help, it will immediately develop a warmer affection for you.

Hi Guys,

The latest news on the front is the addition of a character editor, gender selection, and a redesign of all human characters in the game.



You can choose whether you want to play a boy or a girl and customize them the way you want. We are talking about hairstyle and color, eyebrows, face, lips, nose, and ears shape, and skin color.

Let us know what you think of the new look for Grandma and Grandpa (we think they're cute, but it's our game so...).
