New Features
- Added a Stats Menu (unlocked after beating apartment floor 1) which keeps track of the player's games won, games played, winstreaks, and more! (there are also 6 "joke" stats which can be discovered over time, so keep an eye on the menu!)

News
Howdy folks!
As I mentioned a few days ago on the game's
discord and
twitter, I've been experiencing a bit of burnout/depression lately and have been trying to deal with it to the best of my ability. As a result, this Content Patch is a bit lighter on new Content and Features than I'd like it to be.
That having been said, at the time of me writing this, I've been in a better headspace to work on the game and feel confident that Content Patch #12 will be back on track to being up to my standards.
Moving on, I'd like to address that 4 of the stats in the new Stats Menu have been tracked since Content Patch #9, but all the other stats will only start being tracked as of this Content Patch. Please keep this in mind when considering why some of the numbers might seem off.
Hope you all enjoy this Content Patch and are looking forward to what's next!

Game Balance
- Frying Pan now makes Eggs destroy themselves when adjacent to Golden Eggs and Omelettes (in addition to Eggs, Milk, and Cheese)
- Golden Carrot Essence's description now specifies that its effect only applies when it is destroyed (this doesn't change it gameplay-wise)
- Instant Ramen Essence's description now specifies that it allows the player to choose which items are added when its effect triggers (this doesn't change it gameplay-wise)
- Lucky Carrot Essence's description now specifies that its effect only applies when it is destroyed (this doesn't change it gameplay-wise)
- Void Portal Essence's description now specifies that its effect only applies when it is destroyed (this doesn't change it gameplay-wise)
- Emerald now has the effect "Gives 1 coin more if there are at least 2 Emeralds"
- Golden Egg now has a base value of 4 coins (instead of 3 coins)
- Goldfish now has the effect "Destroys adjacent Bubbles. Gives 15 coins for each Bubble destroyed."
- Monkey now gives 6x the value of symbols destroyed (instead of 5x the value)
- Omelette has the effect "Gives 2 coins more if adjacent to Cheese, Milk, Egg, Golden Egg, or Omelette. This effect only applies once per spin"
- Peach now has the effect "Adds 1 Seed when destroyed"
- Ruby now has the effect "Gives 1 coin more if there are at least 2 Rubies"
- Sloth now gives 4 coins every 2 spins (instead of 3 coins every 2 spins)
- Strawberry now has the effect "Gives 1 coin more if there are at least 2 Strawberries"
- Wine now has the effect "Permanently gives 1 coin more after giving coins 8 times."
The above balance changes were made for the following reasons:
Frying Pan was far less powerful than many other items when compared to how hard it was to trigger its effect, for this reason its effect has been made easier to trigger, and the rewards have been made greater thanks to the Omelette buffs.
Emerald, Ruby, and Strawberry received their new effects in order to make X-ray Machine and Fertilizer builds more powerful, as the rewards from committing heavily to these items when obtained were often not powerful enough to justify the commitment.
Golden Egg now gives an additional coin as it has very few synergies compared to many other Rare symbols, so I felt that making it the only 4 coin base value Rare symbol was a good solution to bring it in-line with other Rare symbols.
Goldfish received its new effect to make taking early Goldfish (perhaps in the hopes of finding a Diver or Fish Tank) less punishing in the early-game.
Monkey had its multiplier slightly tweaked as it was bit a lacking when compared to other Common symbol-destroying symbols (such as Dwarves and Toddlers) in the early-game.
Peach received its new effect to slightly buff Mrs. Fruit's snowballing capability when compared to other similar symbols (such as Geologist and Pirate).
Sloth had its values increased as it was very lacking for an Uncommon synergy-wise (very few Uncommon symbols give less than 2 coins without having some sort of major synergy or upside).
Wine received its new effect mostly for flavor-reasons, but can also provide some buffer to players who add Wine symbols before finding a Dwarf symbol.

official discord!
