After the Steam release, we will continue with releases on other platforms, such as DLSite and much more.
Other than slight changes for certain cutscenes, ultimately all platforms will receive the same content for the game, so please use the platform you like.

20250914 Status Update

[p][/p][p]Hello everyone, it's time for another quick status update, since the placeholder release dates on store pages are approaching.[/p][p]We understand that a lot of players are looking forward to the actual release as time goes on, but we have to once again change the release dates on said pages. We apologize for the letdown.[/p][p]For your reference, below is the announcement we made in previous updates, as well as in the FAQ section in our Discord server.[/p][p]---[/p][p]Thank you for your patience with our slow development.
Cursed Blacksmith is currently scheduled to be released in 2025. We will let everyone know when exactly the release date would be when we are certain ourselves.
In the meantime, the projected release date seen on Steam, DLSite and other sites are a placeholder and doesn't reflect the actual release date. The date on said sites will be changed when necessary, so please check our socials for concrete information.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please bear with us a little longer. Thank you.[/p][p]---[/p][p]Regarding the completion of Cursed Blacksmith, we now have an actual timeline for the completion for localizations for all languages, and the functional features are almost all implemented. The remaining part is cutscenes/voiceover productions for endgame cutscenes.
Originally we plan to set an actual release date today, but after carefully considering the matters such as the incoming Tokyo Game Show (we want to sorta avoid some of the big titles) and more, we decided to announce that in the end of September / start of October.
The game will be released before 2025 comes to an end. In the meantime, we will move the placeholder date on pages ahead, with possibility to put it back to an actual date.
As mentioned in the latest posts, we hope to bring actual good news in the following weeks.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Here are some screenshots that we shared during these weeks in the Discord server. Hopefully these can serve as some more sneak peek for you to enjoy the suspense.[/p][p]We have done this over and over, and we regret every single time, but we hope you can stay with us a little more longer.[/p][p]We appreciate your patience and your support. 20250615 Status Update

[p]Hello everyone, I'm the producer.[/p][p]It's about time for another status update. Although I've said this many times before, the game isn't finished yet, and I'm truly sorry to everyone who's been waiting.
As we mentioned on our social media platforms, we have received some of Miss Midorino's voice recordings, and she has indicated that she should be able to complete the voice work this month. We believe that even if there are any unexpected issues, it shouldn't be too far off, so we hope everyone doesn't worry too much.
We've also been using this time to add new content to enhance the game's richness and logic, which we showed on the social medias in the past weeks.
Here's a brief showcase:[/p][p][/p][p]
Random dungeon rooms and corridors now feature water pool elements, adding visual appeal and strategic depth.[/p][p][/p][p]
The dungeons will occasionally generate hidden rooms containing rare items, which usually require digging and Floating states to reach.[/p][p][/p][p]
We've added Experimental Weapon S-type as an ally unit in the early game, and redesigned the Skill for Frozen Kiss, remaking it as Bat Summon. Players can use this Skill to summon friendly bat units. The number and power for the bats differ depending on your Skill level.[/p][p][/p][p]
Frost Arrow has been moved to Watermoon Knife.
As for Watermoon Knife's Skill, Water Blade, it's temporarily removed from the game, but we've added a new buff called Shockwave, where you can obtain through Stanga. This buff allows normal attacks to generate slashing waves that fly forward 4 tiles ,similar to the original Water Blade.[/p][p][/p][p]Regarding the new trailer we mentioned in previous status updates, which was planned for pre-release promotional media, the progress of the commission is still unstable.
If we can complete it successfully, we'll announce it separately. If progress continues to be difficult, we may still focus on the current trailer.[/p][p][/p][p]There are other related matters that will be explained by the responsible team member:[/p][p][/p][p]====================[/p][p][/p][p]Hi, it's me, your usual social manager responsible for these posts as well as some SNS stuff.
I've also been working on cutscenes for the game, commisioning VO and music, translation and so on.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]By the time this post is out, we would have been finished with almost every single special scene that will be available in the full game, including the not-announced ones, one of which containing nearly 100 voiced dialogues, probably the longest we have. While waiting for VAs to deliver their works (which I have to stress, hats off to all of them) we're working on the remaining cutscenes for the last chapter, as well as translating them into Japanese and English. Also with the help from outsources, the debugging and editing are in action as you're reading.[/p][p][/p][p]We understand more than everyone that you're sick of us apologizing, and we have a long way to go regarding sharing information and setting dates.
In some of the store pages we've mentioned that the reason we make the decision to move the release date again and again is to maintain the visibility of the page itself, but after receiving feedback from fans before, we've come to a conclusion that we should set the date to some time that's extra concrete and feasible.
With that said, please forgive us to change the date once again to Q3 this year, ending in September. However considering our positive progress these weeks, there should be a good chance for the game to come out before this date.[/p][p][/p][p]One last thing. We've been restricting the use of our Discord server to supporters only, but we are going to open the server to everyone later this month or in the beginning of July, considering we're reaching the end of development.
We wish to share whatever info we can more openly to all that's interested, or at least give you a direct way to shout at us about the delay. Please go easy on us though.
If you're into this, please check the future post from us.[/p][p][/p][p]It's been almost a year since the godforbid maid outfit incident, and it's not even funny a long time ago. All we can assure is that we're alive and working.

20250210 Status Update



Hello everyone, this is the producer of Ason. I'm here to deliver another status update.

Sadly as usual, I need to start with apologizing. We are sorry that we still couldn't release the full game. It has been so many months since our appearance at the Steam Next Fest, and I must say I'm feeling more and more stressed.
That said, we are working towards completion, as slow as it may seem. I am also hoping to have the game out, the earlier the better.

Aside from the stuff we talked about regarding our members in the last update, today we want to address another issue we are currently trying to fix about preparing the assets.
The voice actress who brings us the main character Shanoa, Miss Lime Midorino (@midorino_lime) , is currently on an indefinite haitus working on her recovery on long-time disease.
This took place just as we had readied the remaining script for Miss Midorino to voice act. This, as always, is mostly our fault to have the script ready a bit too late.
We have been in constant contact with Miss Midorino, hoping her voices can be with us to the very end of this project. This might take a bit while, so we hope you can understand.
Of course, if things go south, we'll also swiftly take care of this issue and let you know.
For now, let's wish Miss Midorino a speedy recovery.

We will keep providing doodles and bonus illustrations for patrons. Besides guest illustrators, we'll have our artists for this project create more brillant work for your enjoyment.
