Panzer Knights Big Update Information and Price Increasing

Hello, Commanders,

The next update of Panzer Knights is expected to be launched around mid-January after the end of the Steam 2020 Winter Sale. There will be the following new additions:

  • Three new levels
  • Garage system, through the medals obtained from the levels to unlock the tanks and camouflage, you can freely choose the battle vehicle
  • Camp system, unlock the crews through medals, and you can freely assign the crews of the tank
  • Memoir page, you can watch the event dialogue again
  • Crew skills can strengthen the tank’s abilities
  • Add grass-related screen options, volume options
  • New languages: Simplified Chinese, Japanese
  • Performance optimization


After the update goes live, the price will be increasing to $11.99 (USD). This will be the first time that Panzer Knights has adjusted the price. In response to the winter sale, Panzer Knights will has a 10% discount during this sale. Players who are interested in the game are welcome to start during the sale period.

We need to remind everyone that after this update, the previous game saves will be unavailable, and the saves will be reset depends on the situation in subsequent major updates. In addition, the game values ​​related to tanks and skills are still not the final version and will continue to be adjusted.

DEVELOPER DIARY #3

Hello everyone,

This diary will introduce the new contents that will be added in the future, namely the Camp and the Garage.

[h3]Camp[/h3]
In the interface of the Camp, we can see the list of crews that can be owned in the game, and individual crew can be unlocked by accomplishing the medals of completing the objectives in the mission. Crew possesses basic skills that can give more advantages on the battlefield. Upgrading skills through medals can not only enhance the effect but also open additional effects at specific levels.

In addition, there will be special relationships between the crews, which we call bond characters. When passing the designated mission with the bond characters, you can also unlock unique dialogue content and skill.



[h3]Garage[/h3]
And in the interface of the Garage, you can also see the list of tanks that can be controlled in the game, which can also be unlocked through medals. On the left side of this screen, you can see the various ability values ​​of the tank, set the crews of each vehicle, and decide which tank is ready to fight.



In addition, you can see a tab called Camouflage, where you can unlock and switch the camouflage style of each tank. The camouflage has no effect and will not affect your performance in battle.



By the way, we do not plan to design a fixed unlocking process or conditions. Therefore, if you are willing to repeat the previous missions, accumulate medals and directly unlock the tiger tank to crush the early enemy tanks, um... We are not against it!

[h3]Game Saves Reset[/h3]
I need to say sorry to everyone first. Due to the development and game progress design, the player’s saves may need to be reset for major updates before the official launch, and the game must be restarted with a new game save. We will issue announcements for more information later.

Due to the development progress, we decided to update the contents of the new system mentioned above in order according to the progress of completion, and the details and balance of the contents will be revised continuously.

Hello everyone,

In this diary, I want to share some of the process of the production team developing new levels.

The design of Panzer Knights is mainly based on historical facts, whether in the background or the tanks. Therefore, we hoped that authenticity can be used as the basis for the creation of the level.

However, as an a team of Asians, it is indeed not easy to accurately create a "European" battlefield. In addition to the books and film and television works we have watched in the past, we also collect and refer to contemporary maps and photos of the year (thanks to Google :D), and do our best to create a game atmosphere that we hope players will be enjoyable.

We will share some of the pictures or informations in development with you at least once every two weeks, so that you can understand the current progress of the game.

This time, let’s take a look at the tanks that will appear in the game. They are the classic Soviet tank KV-2 and the only tank named after a woman, the British tank Matilda II.
