Outbreak: Shades of Horror Kickstarter is LIVE! Back the campaign NOW!

BACK THE CAMPAIGN NOW! EARLY BIRD STEAM REWARDS AVAILABLE FOR WINDOWS & LINUX PLAYERS!!

Return to the world of survival horror in this next-gen online (& offline, & single-player!) co-op undead nightmare designed as a spiritual successor to titles like Resident Evil: Outbreak!

Choose from a wide cast of survivors as you're thrown into a city becoming overrun with the undead. You'll experience the opening hours of the outbreak hitting critical mass as emergency services fail and civilians run for their lives. Blending modern gameplay with classic survival horror motifs, you'll need to fight for your life to get out of Cypress Ridge alive.

Play the entire game as a modern first person shooter, an over-the-shoulder third person shooter, or via retro fixed camera angles!
Back the campaign now and secure early bird pricing on awesome digital and physical rewards like games, merch, & more! Don't forget to check out our add-ons with your pledge, like adding yourself as a playable survivor, becoming an NPC, having dinner with the development team and more!
A playable tech demo teaser is also available now!

Outbreak: Contagious Memories is now available on Steam!

Outbreak: Contagious Memories is now available on Steam!

Welcome back to the world of survival horror in this hardcore, clunky, cheesy, and absurdly difficult adventure. Join Lydia as she tries to escape a city overrun with the undead, meeting fellow survivors, solving puzzles, battling the undead, and running for her life as everything tries to kill her.

You'll find no modern polish or game mechanics here. This is a '90s survival horror adventure as it was back then, all the rough edges intact including cheesy voice acting, limited saving, and non-stop death. So if you're ready to take a trip back in time for the ultimate challenge, there's no better time to face the nightmare. Just don't expect to kill a zombie in a single hit, they're quite durable!

And hey, you can always bring a friend along in split-screen co-op (or even online through Remote Play Together) if you really need some backup! Good luck! Oh, and bring a gamepad if you can, there's controller support!

Hey Survivors!

The undead apocalypse is out to consume you in Outbreak: Endless Nightmares, the latest release from Dead Drop Studios. We're happy to announce that Outbreak: Endless Nightmares has been the biggest launch in series history, with more players than ever before! Every title in the series is coming alive in a way we've never seen in the past, and the response has been wonderful.

Check out the image in this post for some great stats on the success so far, and where we're heading next.

We're looking forward to the year ahead with new content updates, enhancements and more! Keep surviving out there and thank you again for your support!

The Next Steps in Endless Nightmares

Hey Survivors!

We're fresh off almost two solid months of non-stop updates since launch! Check the patch history for the game for all the juicy details, but the largest pieces of community feedback have been addressed and I'm continuing to speak with the community and organize requests on future features, fixes and more! We've seen a full overhaul to the first-person mode, precision aiming in OTS/FPS and much more - and this is just the beginning!

I just wanted to drop a quick note to keep the community in the loop. You'll be hearing more from me on upcoming plans for the title, as well as some additional information in August. Until then, please keep sending me bug reports and feature requests either through our official Discord (check the discussion boards for the link), through the discussion boards or directly at [email protected]. For any critical issues, you can expect me to continue to communicate and patch as necessary.

I hope you're enjoying the title and I can't wait to talk about what's coming next for Endless Nightmares, and the rest of the series.

Best of luck surviving and thank you for playing!
