Peripeteia Releases into Early Access

The day we’ve been waiting for has come. Peripeteia is officially out, intricate and sprawling, ready for you to explore. Get lost in the ruins, experience post-soviet conflict and search for a bit of piece of tranquility along Marie and her cactus.

As this is an Early Access release, we intend to listen to community feedback and continuously fix any bugs and issues that might happen in a project as ambitious as this. We hope you’ll join us in the journey towards the 1.0 release. It’s a great pleasure and honor to have an amazing community like ours.
The next major map, Dustbowl, will be coming in a few months. All Beta Kickstarter backers, as well as our Patrons, will be the first to experience it.

We hope the game provides you with an unforgettable, immersive experience. It’s been a wonderfully satisfying journey up to this point and we hope the feelings you experience playing the game will reflect even a portion of what we are feeling right now. And there’s more to come!

Immersive sims are one of those types of games that can be really hard to properly define, but when you sit down and play a really good one, you almost immediately understand it. Everybody knows the classics like System Shock and Deus Ex, and more modern titles like Dishonored, but the indie scene has plenty to offer, too. In fact, a new contender joins through early access today. Peripeteia is, to quote its creator, a "first-and-third-person role-playing stealth game taking place in alt-history cyberpunk Poland".

Peripeteia is an upcoming indie immersive sim where you're an out-of-work cyborg mercenary living in a dilapidated post-Soviet city full of homeless people, gas-mask thugs, and talkative bartenders. "It's Deus Ex except you're Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, retired, in Poland." That's how I summed up the demo for Peripeteia when I played it in 2021, and I've been waiting to play more of it ever since...
