Zeepkist Awesome Alpha - Version 14, Patch 2

- Fixed Z-Fighting on fan block distance gizmo
- Added a new setting in the Level Editor settings: "Alternative Property Value Multiplier"





When changing properties on blocks, you can press Shift* to get an alternative value step size. The default step depends on the block, the alternative step is a multiplier that's applied to the step. The default alternative step multiplier has been 2, and you can now choose between these five:

- 0.01
- 0.05
- 0.1
- 0.5
- 2

You can switch between these in the settings panel. Block property values will also display decimal places now :)

I hope level creators find this useful! Let me know if there's any issues with it!

Zeepkist v14 Update!!

Hey everyone!!!


Time for another regular sized update!!
Allow me to introduce to yoouuuu:

Zeepkist v14!!


New cosmetics!


At the heart of this update are 48 new cosmetics I've added!



Coupled with these are 12 new adventure levels for you all to hunt!! :D


New blocks!


There's also a couple of new blocks we're adding!



There's some off-grid blocks for people who like to work with special curves, there's some tube crossroads, and there's a new "Trasher" block that will remove dynamic objects from the track!

Fixes
- Small update to text censor
- Fixed bug where Free Play saved times where not all checkpoints were hit

Other
- This update required a Server update so you might have had some connection issues when I launched the update!

I'm going to tinker with Zeepkist 2D some more now and then I should really get started on the sound update sometime hahaha

Something to note is that the sound update is going to be a big overhaul of the entire Zeepkist sound system, and is going to include loads of new sounds and sound effects. I expect it will take quite a while to develop and release that.

On top of that, with the sound update I'm planning to bump up Zeepkist's price! This is because at this point the amount of content and features in Zeepkist has grown immensely since the Early Access first hit shelves over 2 years ago! So if you don't have Zeepkist yet and want to get it for a cheap price, be sure to get it before the sound update hits!!

Level Contest - Full Speed

[h3]THEME: Full Speed[/h3]
  • Build a level that has players racing at over 150 speed for the majority of the track

[h3]SUBTHEME: Cherry Blossoms (Optional)[/h3]
  • Why not incorporate some cherry blossom trees into your level for the cherry blossom season!

[h3]DEADLINE[/h3]
  • Your track should be complete and submitted by Saturday, 11th March 2023 at 18:00 UTC+0
  • Submissions will be combined into a single workshop item after the deadline above

[h3]SUBMISSION RULES[/h3]
  1. You can only submit one level (you can modify or replace your submission as much as you like until the deadline)
  2. Level collaborations are permitted (this counts as a level submission for each individual creator)
  3. The name of the level MUST start with "ZSL - "

[h3]LEVEL RULES[/h3]
  1. Scaling track pieces is permitted
  2. Level MUST have an author time under 1 minute 30 seconds (between 30sec to 1min preferred)
  3. Level MUST have at least 1 checkpoint. Consider adding additional checkpoints for split timing or where it would prevent a cut, as cuts do not make for good tournament tracks!
  4. Level MUST NOT have hidden finishes or hidden shortcuts (e.g using no-collision or invisible blocks to hide a secret path that is NOT the intended route)
  5. Level MUST meet any additional requirements set in the level contest's theme

[h3]HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR LEVEL[/h3]
  1. Join our Official Discord server
  2. Upload the level to the Steam Workshop
  3. Link the workshop item in the theme's thread in #level-submissions

- Up to 15 of the submitted levels will be used for the next Zeepkist Super League event
- The community will vote on their favourite maps from the theme after the ZSL event
- The best themed level and the top 3 from the community vote will get a `Level Contest Winner` role and 3,000 EXP in our Discord server!
