Season 6: Theme 2

[h3]THEME: Slow Motion[/h3]

Build a level where the player never goes above 100 speed!

Looking for ideas? Try a compact layout to make the most of the limited speed; use tight corners that feel smooth at lower speeds; get creative with elevation changes to control the player's speed.

[h3]DEADLINE[/h3]

• Your track should be complete and submitted by Sunday, 6th April 2025 at 18:00 BST
• Submissions will be combined into a single workshop item after the deadline above
  

[h3]SUBMISSION RULES[/h3]

1. You can only submit one level (you can modify or replace your submission as much as you like until the deadline)
   
2. Level collaborations are permitted (Maximum of 3 players per level. This counts as a level submission for each individual creator. Please name/mention collaborators when submitting)
   
3. Level author name MUST contain the submitters' Steam (or Discord) username
   
4. The name of the level MUST start with "ZSL - " (e.g "ZSL - My Level")
   

[h3]THEME RULES[/h3]

1. Level MUST keep the player under 100 speed
   
2. Level MUST NOT have the player go faster than 100 speed. Use the Slower (red X) block to control and cap the maximum speed if you think someone could go faster than 100 speed on a section of your track
   

[h3]LEVEL RULES[/h3]

1. Scaling track pieces is permitted
   
2. Level MUST follow any theme requirements set above
   
3. Level MUST be under 4000 blocks
4. Level MUST have an author time above 20 seconds
5. Level MUST have an author time under 60 seconds
6. Level MUST have at least 3 checkpoints. Consider adding additional checkpoints for split timing or where it would prevent a cut, as cuts do not make for good tournament tracks!
   
7. Level MUST NOT have risky or hidden finishes/shortcuts (e.g blind shortcuts or using no-collision/invisible/logic blocks to hide a secret path that is NOT the intended route)
   

[h3]HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR LEVEL[/h3]

1. Join our Official Discord server
2. Upload the level to the Steam Workshop
   
3. Link the workshop item in the theme's thread in #level-submissions
   
   Don't have Discord? You can submit your entry by linking your workshop item in the comments section of this announcement post!
   

[h3]WINNERS & PRIZES[/h3]

• Up to 15 of the submitted levels will be used for the next Zeepkist Super League event
  
  
  • Players of all skill ranges should be able to finish your level.
    
  • The more playable your level is, the more likely your level will be chosen!
    
• The community will vote on their favourite maps from the theme once submissions close
  
• Top 4 in the community votes for Best Decor and Best Track Layout will each win:
  
  
  • A special soapbox cosmetic in-game.
    
  • A `Level Contest Winner` role (Discord only)
    
  • 3,000 chat EXP in our Discord server (Discord only)

The Zeepkist Super League is back for Season 6. Whether you're a seasoned Zeepkist racer or just starting out, this is your chance to compete in a friendly yet competitive tournament open to all skill levels.

Each season consists of six rounds, each with a unique theme. Round 1 brings you tracks that are only 3 blocks wide, pushing creativity to the limit.

• Up to 191 players compete over 3 rooms / 2 timeslots. The leaderboards of all rooms will be combined!
• 15 levels selected by our panel of 20 judges.
  
• Rounds last 7 minutes – All levels are between 20 and 60 seconds long.
• Championship points system:
  
  • 1st: 100 points
    
  • 2nd: 98 points
    
  • ...each position lower is 2 points less...
    
  • 49th: 4 points
    
  • 50th: 2 points
    
  • 51st and below: 1 point
    
  • DNF: 0 points

Join us on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 18:00 GMT for The Gauntlet—a one-time-only Super League event celebrating 2½ years of ZSL and offering a chance to win past Super League cosmetic rewards!

[h2]📅 Event Details[/h2]

• Date: Sunday, March 9th 2025
  
• Time: 11:00 PT / 14:00 ET / 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET
  
• Capacity: 64 players (first-come, first-served)
  
• Room opens: 17:40 GMT (20 minutes before the event starts)
  
• Event duration: Ends when we reach 10 winners or after 90 minutes

💡 Due to the nature of this tournament, there is no second timeslot—this is your only chance to participate!

[h2]🏁 Event Format[/h2]

• 64 players compete in a single room.
  
• Random shuffled levels from every Level Contest submission since November 2022.
  
• Rounds last 3 minutes and 45 seconds – once a player sets a time, the timer will drop to 60 seconds!
• Championship points system:
  
  • 1st to 10th: 30, 27, 24, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12 and 10 points
    
  • 11th to 16th: 6 points
    
  • 17th to 32nd: 4 points
    
  • 33rd to 63rd: 2 points
    
  • DNF: 0 points

[h2]🥇 How to Win[/h2]

• Reach 300 championship points to become a Finalist.
  
• Finalists must win a round to claim one of 10 winner spots.
  
• Once all 10 winners are decided or 90 minutes pass, the event ends.
  
• Once a player wins, they no longer earn points and do not place on round leaderboards

💡 Note: If the 90-minute time limit is reached before all 10 winners are decided, the event will end early—even if fewer than 10 players have won.

Each of the 10 winners gets to choose one of the following exclusive Super League cosmetic items:

This event features every submitted Level Contest track, not just the 15 that made it into each past ZSL season. That means you might encounter a mix of polished, creative and occasionally janky or challenging tracks along the way!

So people have been requesting one of these for ages, and it's always been something that I've been really interested in doing... so I figured it was finally time to set up a little merch store for Zeepkist and Zeepkist related things! :D

I think my personal favorites have to the be the Burpi or Nebulade can-shaped glasses. I can't wait to get some of those for myself!

[h2]Super League Details[/h2]

We will be competing on 15 of the 58 level submissions from the level contest held earlier this month. You can checkout all submissions on the Steam Workshop below!

The rooms will open around 10 minutes before the event starts and is scheduled to last around 2 hours (7 minutes per level) with a rest period half way through. The first timed level will begin on the hour (~10 minutes after rooms open)

The leaderboards in all rooms will be tracked and will be combined into a single overall leaderboard post-event on zeepki.st/super-league!

The combined top 6 with the most points will receive a special soapbox IN-GAME, a Discord role and 3,000 chat EXP in our Discord server!
