Leagues: the Path of a Battle Mage

Every battle mage that has attacked an enemy castle signs up for participation in a league! All in all, there are 10 of them, and new mages begin their way from the Pearl League. Participants of each league divide into small groups where they compete, trying to get as many victories as possible in two days.

There are no specific requirements for participation: you will score points by defeating enemy mages in your usual battles and get a rank in the league table. The first three leaders with the maximum number of victories move to the next league, and so on — up to the final Onyx League.

You will get an award for competing in a league: a certain number of gold keys depending on your rank in the league table and the level of the league itself. The higher the league, the more keys you will get for your efforts.

The winners of the fifth Diamond League and the tenth Onyx League will get unique promo cards — the furious Succubus and the merciless Many-Faced Demon! You can only move upwards in the leagues, and your rank won’t go down if you lose or skip a battle. We wish you rapid growth and easy victories!

Attacking Enemy Castles

Right from the very beginning of your reign in the Realm, you can attack other players. It’s a surefire way to announce yourself and declare your intention to build a prosperous castle — and it also allows you to collect resources for building.

The outcome of such an attack depends largely on your battle deck, which consists of ten creatures belonging to different elements, rarity, and type. Each card has an indicator of its strength, and the sum of those indicators forms the total strength of the deck. This parameter helps to find opponents who are more or less your match so that you’ll fight on equal grounds.

The search for an opponent costs 5 drops of blood. After the payment, you get to the enemy castle and see the list of resources you’ll gain after the victory. To avoid unpleasant surprises, you can take a peep at the opponent’s deck and replace some of your creatures if need be. Let the battle begin!

Only 5 creatures from your deck take part in the battle, and the first turn is awarded randomly. After that, players take turns to choose a creature for the duel: in attack, you are the first to play a card, and in defence, you choose the creature to oppose the attacker. With each victory in a duel, you score a point. To win in a battle, you need to prevail in at least 3 duels out of 5.

To increase your chances of winning, use spell scrolls to strengthen your allies or weaken your opponent’s creatures. Sometimes spells drastically change the battle outcome!

If you win a battle, your ranking points increase, and an epic 5-star win brings you an extra prize! The defeat results in losing points.

Every victory brings you honor and glory, moving you up on the ranking table. Good luck on the battleground!

Amulets

We’ve already mentioned the mysterious amulets that improve the attributes of your creatures, and now it’s time to tell you more about them!

In total, there are 19 amulets in the Magic Lands. They can be divided into 4 types: amulets of attack, amulets of defense, amulets of support, and creature amulets.

Every creature card has 4 slots. If all of them are open, you can fill the slots with 4 amulets (1 of each type). Different combinations of amulets allow you to fine-tune the card attributes: to make your creature more enduring, to increase the damage it deals to enemies, or to boost its special ability. You can always remove the amulets from the card and try other combinations until you finally get the desired stats.

Such amulets as the Amulet of Attack, the Amulet of Luck, the Amulet of Health, and the Amulet of Defense can be used for creatures of all types and elements. But each creature type can carry only one creature amulet, and elemental amulets can be used only by cards of the corresponding element.

You can make extra improvements to each amulet with the help of elemental stones and creature tokens — the new level of the amulet will provide an additional boost to the card. However, creature tokens must match the type of the creature that will use the improved amulet, and the color of elemental stones must match the color of the card.

The creature with a full combination of amulets becomes a much better version of itself. A deck of such creatures can withstand even the most invincible enemies. It’s time to fight and win!

Summoning Portal

The magic lands abound with various beings that have been classified as follows: Humans, Animals, Undead, Magical, Monsters, Draconids, and Titans. All creatures have a certain level of rarity, which indicates the difficulty of obtaining such a card, and also the power of its attributes: Common (the weakest ones), Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary (powerful creatures indeed).

You may be lucky enough to encounter some creatures when following quest stories, get them as a prize for winning the Tournament of Mages, or, if Fortune favors you, find them in certain valuable chests. But mostly you will have to perform rituals in the Summoning Portal to add new creatures to your deck.

To perform such a ritual, you will need a combination of three Shards — you can obtain them in quest battles or steal from other battle mages if their summoning ritual is active. Just like creatures, shards have a certain rarity level from Common to Legendary. The higher the rarity of shards in your combination, the better you chance to summon a creature of higher rarity.

The creatures of Common and Uncommon rarity are the easiest to summon, but even in this case the ritual can fail, and instead of a card you will get a shard of the same or higher rarity. When you have summoned enough creatures, your Portal can produce duplicates of the cards you already have in your deck. They will be diffused into crystals.

You need some time to perform the ritual. During this period your castle is vulnerable to the attacks of other mages. If your defense forces are vanquished, the enemy troop will get a chance to steal one of the shards loaded into the Portal. In this case, your ritual will be suspended until you return to the Realm. You can take revenge on the assailant and take the shard back, or use a new shard to resume the ritual.

Useful tip: use the shards of the maximum available rarity to increase your chances to summon rarer creatures! Good luck with your rituals!

How to Improve the Attributes of Your Cards

Your deck is a collection of unique creatures united under your banner. They attack enemy castles, bringing valuable resources, and glorious victories to your Kingdom!

As your Castle grows and develops, more and more creatures will join you. Strong creatures will replace weak ones, ordinary cards will give way to rare ones. If you want your creatures to be more effective in battle, you need to improve them regularly.

Every creature can be boosted with the help of amulets inserted into card slots (up to 4 in total). Amulet bonuses can be combined, and together they influence the three main attributes of a creature: endurance (health), damage (attack), and its chance to successfully use the special ability (ability chance). Each amulet has improvement levels that provide additional bonuses. Different combinations of amulets allow you to emphasize a specific attribute of a creature — for example, to make a card much more enduring. You can also remove amulets from a card and create new combinations at any moment of the game.

The more victories a creature scores during its time in the battle deck, the higher its experience and rank. Starting from the first rank and going up to the fifth one, a creature gets better attributes with every new rank (and with every evolution level as well).

Military buildings in your Castle also influence the battle power of your creatures, but they can get damaged because of frequent use and require repair. Fix them on time, and it will give additional attack and health bonuses to all allied cards in battle.

Add those bonuses in advance, and your deck will have better attributes when going to battle against your enemies. You can also use spells that affect the attributes of allied or hostile decks during one battle. The use of spells can drastically change the battle outcome and bring you victory!

The balanced use of deck-boosting tools will open new opportunities to your troop of creatures — the best prizes in quests, the best leagues, and the best rankings in tournaments!
