Monthly Challenge December 2024

We forgot to announce last month's monthly challenge, oopsie!
For this month we want to try something fresh.
Here, have two winter-haikus!
Cold wind whispers frost,
Hexes gleam, a frozen field,
Village takes its form.

Tiles fall like soft snow,
Quests bloom, a winter garden,
Build peace, tile by tile.

Our village is snowed in... with quests! Looks like You'll be tile-ing away the winter in Dorfromantik.

Yup, that's right! For the month of December, our Monthly Mode is all about quests.
How many can YOU complete with no more than 50 Tiles?!
And don't worry, no trains will trash your lofty Highscore-Throne amibtions. 😉

Monthly Challenge October 2024

Dorfromantik's monthly mode for October is: Small World!

This month, every Tile counts. Just as the days are getting shorter (in the northern hemisphere, at least), so does your playable area start shrinking to preserve the cozy warmth. We know that last month's Challenge was quite hard indeed, so we thought you'd enjoy something a little more relaxed for a change. 😉

All settings bar the World Size are default as well, so no nasty surprises there to ruin the relaxation!

Although we'd love to have more vacation time, summer is slowly waning; School is starting up again, and we are closing in on holiday season quickly!
This month's Monthly Mode will see you become industrious little bees - There are no trees, but everything else is dialed up, difficulty included!
