Leap into March with Another Garden Challenge 🐸

What better way to spring into March than with a special leap year competition!

The theme this month is simple - the more frogs, the better! Frame them, play peekaboo, or have all your frogs in a row.

The developers will select the 3 froggin' best screenshots and the lucky winners will each receive a Wildmender wearable blanket!

You have from Monday, February 26th, until Friday, March 15th, to submit a screenshot of your garden through this GLEAM link.

And that’s it! We’ll let you hop onto it.

So why are we featuring in this event?

In rhythm shooter Robobeat, you'll play as Ace - a bounty hunter on a mission to capture robot-gone-rogue Frazzer in his ever-shifting lair. Wall run, slide, and shoot to the beat, blast through robot armies, and track down your target.

Every character in Robobeat - from Ace to Frazzer - is a robot in some form. Could Ace take down a dinosaur?

Ace’s Pewpewpedia - Volume 2

Sometimes, a Revolver doesn’t scratch that itch and you need to get creative.

Here are two “guns” that, while not as fast as the Revolver, pack an almighty punch…

[h3]Flux[/h3]

Get up close and personal with the powerful Flux shotgun. While it takes an extra beat between shots, the Flux is the perfect drive-by weapon when sliding past enemies.

The combos will leave you charrggged, feeling utterly bonkerz, and may even give you a1mbot! To execute the charrggged combo, charge and shoot to get a piercing round. For the other two? We’ll keep those as a secret for now.

[h3]Ping Pong[/h3]

Who said weapons can’t be fun? Serve pain to your enemies and return any attacks with a backswing. Bounce the ball into the air and strike it three times in rapid succession for maximum damage!

There are no combos, as its rapid three-strike attack is capped off with one hell of an explosion. Volley to your heart's content!

Ace’s Gizmopedia - Volume 1

“It’s not often I get overrun with enemies, but when I do, these help get me out of a pickle… Or just style on the enemies as I kill them.” - Ace.

In the first instalment of this new series, we’ll look at two of the first gizmos you’ll have access to - fire and ice electric!

[h3]Fire Bomb[/h3]

Ignite your enemies and set them ablaze! The Fire Bomb is the perfect gizmo for all you pyromaniacs who love burning your enemies to a crisp.

As with all of your abilities in Robobeat, you'll start off a run by finding weaker versions of the abilities before getting access to stronger versions in later levels.

Higher tiers will increase the potency of the flames as well as provide extra benefits, such as letting the fire spread. It even has some unique synergy with a few guns!

Lightning Strike

Give your opponents the shock of their lives with the Lightning Strike. Send them into the air, leaving them paralyzed by fear and at the mercy of your razor-sharp aim.

Different tiers have additional effects, such as taking less damage from nearby enemies. And maybe, just maybe, lightning strikes twice.
