ROBOBEAT is the third one of these new-fangled rhythm FPS games I’ve played - after BPM: Bullets Per Minute and Metal: Hellsinger - and the first one I’ve actually clicked with. The concept evidently appeals to me enough to try out those other two, but I guess that I’m simply too much of a rebel-maverick-disruptor to play to the stiflingly enforced rhythms of somebody else’s drum. Something about ROBOBEAT’s roguelike shooting feels different though.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with Awe Interactive to bring you this very harmonious collaboration.

As part of the collab, we’ve added a super secret BPM-style room into Robobeat, where you’ll find two cassettes containing rock opera epics from the BPM: Bullets Per Minute soundtrack.

Alongside the secret room and cassettes, we’ll also be offering the perfect game bundle for rhythm shooter fans at launch.

The Robobeats Per Minute Bundle will include:

Robobeat, a roguelite rhythm shooter where you take on the role of robo-gunslinger Ace as he hunts down the chaotic showman Frazzer. Fast, agile, and merciless, these dual-wielding droids will leap at you with startling speed and try to cut you down.


Stay aware and keep on the move to avoid these relentless gladiators. Be warned, they will teleport closer to you if you stray too far. Eliminate them quick, or you’ll end up on the chopping block.

Why are we being featured in FPS Fest?


Robobeat is a rhythm shooter, which means it combines the high-action thrill of a first-person shooter with the musical precision of a rhythm game. In order to maximise your damage, you’ll need to shoot in sync with the music, which adds an extra layer of challenge to the FPS experience!


With the custom music feature, you’ll be able to add your own music to the game, so you can play using the songs you love and adjust the difficulty based on your track choices. Choose songs with a lower BPM for a more relaxing time, or push yourself with songs that have a high or irregular BPM.


Music, guns, tricks, and plenty of enemies to kill - what’s not to love?
