February has been packed with exciting updates! We saw the launch of RoadCraft’s demo on Steam and the release of Expeditions Season 2, bringing new vehicles and challenges. Whether you’ve been exploring new content or conquering tough terrains, it’s been a great month for all of us!

[h3]Let’s kick things off with the Mack Dual Pack! 🚛[/h3]
As part of this DLC, we introduced a new tool that we initially referred to as the ‘RGB Selector’. We realize now thanks to your feedback that this was a bit of a mix-up since it doesn’t actually let you input hex codes. Our apologies for the confusion!
To make things clearer, the tool has now been renamed to the ‘Color Tool’.

Also, a quick heads-up: in Season 15, the Color Tool will be getting an upgrade, bringing even more customization options to your vehicles!

Get ready to explore a brand new region, Québec, where snow-covered landscapes and icy challenges await.
This season will test your skills in harsh winter environments, with two new maps and two fresh vehicles to help you conquer the cold terrain.

A bit lost with the Color Tool? 🤔 Don't worry! Here's a handy tutorial to help you create your perfect custom skin. 🎨🚛

The Color Tool lets you create custom skins for your trucks.

Currently, it's available for a single color in the Mack Dual Pack. A tricolor Color Tool will be added in Season 15.

[h3]1) Basics 🛠️[/h3]

🖌️ You can find the Color Tool in 'Customize' menu> 'Color' tab:


🎨 To open the menu, select a color cell and press ‘Add New Color’ in the lower-right panel:

Inside the menu, you can adjust:

🔹 Hue
🔹 Saturation
🔹 Brightness

Controls:
🎮 Gamepad: D-pad (⬆⬇ scroll, ⬅➡ adjust sliders)
⌨ Keyboard: Arrows (⬆⬇ scroll, ⬅➡ adjust sliders)
🖱 Mouse: Click & drag the slider

The preview color is displayed at the bottom and directly on the truck.
Once satisfied, press ‘Add New Color’ to save your custom skin. ✅


⚠️ Note: Exiting the Color Tool without saving will discard your changes!
Your saved skins appear right after the Color Tool, marked with a colored drop icon, and can be applied to any truck. 🚛


You can edit, remove, or delete custom skins anytime via the lower-right panel. 🛠️

⚠️ Remember: Press ‘Apply Color’ after editing to save changes.
Edits only affect the current truck, while other trucks keep the original color. This is by design.

Introducing the Mack Dual Pack! 🚛

Get ready to expand your fleet with the Mack Dual Pack, arriving on February 11th!

This exciting DLC brings two brand-new trucks to the game: the versatile Mack TerraPro, complete with a dedicated sideboard add-on, and the powerful Heavy Duty-class Mack Pinnacle, featuring a logging trailer.

While this isn’t the first time Mack vehicles have made their way into SnowRunner, this pack brings fresh options to tackle the toughest jobs.

Please note that the Mack Dual Pack is a standalone DLC and is not included in the Year 4 Pass.

[h3]Be prepared for Season 2 content! 👊[/h3]

Season 2 is landing on February 27th, bringing with it an exciting innovation: the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV)!



Designed for research and exploration, this cutting-edge gadget operates autonomously or semi-autonomously in challenging environments. Equipped with four versatile slots and powered by electricity, it’s perfect for navigating the wild.

The UGV’s principal features include collecting data on ecosystems, climate, and pollution in remote or sensitive areas. It assists in mapping terrains, identifying resources, and tackling tough landscapes — from deep caves to narrow passages and even rock climbing!

All of this is done with one goal in mind: helping to preserve our natural environments. 🌱

On top of that, Season 2 will also bring new vehicles to Expeditions: the Traun BR-0D, the Decin S-3T and the Mercedes Unimog U2450L! We dedicated a blog to these new additions, check it out here!



[h3]Quality of Life Patch 🌞[/h3]

We just released an update that brings various QoL improvements to Expeditions! Critical bugs have been fixed, as well as UI polish and a few additional changes. You’ll find the complete patch notes here!

As 2024 winds down and winter settles in, it’s the perfect time to look back on the adventures we had in the Mudrunner games. Whether you’d rather brave the snowy roads in SnowRunner or explore more rugged terrains in Expeditions, we first and foremost wanted to thank the whole community for still being so passionate about our games.

In 2024, SnowRunner continued to expand its off-road simulation experience with significant updates and new content. But before looking back, I know you well: here’s a sneak peak of 2025’s content, especially season 15.

[h2]⏪ Now, let’s rewind a bit shall we?[/h2]

In 2024 we kept on working on SnowRunner a lot and delivered three seasons included in the Year 4 pass:

[h3]🌳 Season 12: Public Energy[/h3]
In January, you took the wheel and drove to the greenery of South Carolina. The state government called on you to help build a nuclear power station! You constructed its reactors and supporting facilities by transporting heavy cargo and equipment.
Four new maps were introduced, along with new points of interest like a water dam, power plants and crop fields! Also, to accomplish your mission, two new trucks were introduced:

• the MTB 8106
  
• the FEMM 37-AT
  

[h3]⛏️ Season 13: Dig & Drill [/h3]
In June, you were invited to Almaty, a hidden gem of a region nestled in the heart of Central Asia. Authorities in southeast Kazakhstan are launching a bold new mining project and need your expertise. Your mission was to deliver essential equipment and rebuild conveyor belts and haulage systems to get the quarries up and running.

Another duo of trucks arrived in your garage, an 8x8 and a scouting SUV:

• The PLAD 450
  
• The AAC-58DW
  

[h3]🌾 Season 14: Reap & Sow [/h3]

In September, you were introduced to the Austrian countryside! Your mission consisted in rehabilitating maintenance sites and farming facilities across 2 new maps, while managing agricultural machinery.

Therefore, two new trucks were implemented, along with 2 powerful tractors:

• The Eartroamer SX 🚚
  
• The Eartroamer LTI 🚚
  
• The Futom 7290RA 🚜
  
• The Ankatra 1160 🚜

[h2]Kenworth Dual Pack 🚚🛻[/h2]
In November, along with the Year 4 pass content, we released the Kenworth Dual Pack DLC. This update added two new trucks to your garage, each with a unique vinyl wrap for each:

• The T880: Fuel-efficient, fast, with permanent diff lock and high suspension options.
  
• The C500: Excellent off-road handling despite being limited to stock suspension.
  

Both came with custom sideboards too: 3 cargo slots for the T880 and 2 for the C500.



This DLC also brought a bunch of fixes, the patch notes are here!

[h2]#DriversDiary Screenshot Contest 📸[/h2]
Last month we launched a little screenshot contest on Discord to let you win a key for the Focus game of your choice, and there’s already 500 entries!
We’re proud to see how motivated (and talented) our players are 😎

[h3]Season 15: Oil & Dirt[/h3]
The first thing to come will be Season 15: Oil & Dirt, included in the Year 4 Pass. So we’ll see you in Quebec! 🍁 This update will also bring two new trucks, stay tuned for more info! ✨
Also throughout the year, many Quality of Life improvements will come, including UI reworks for the garage.

Season 2: White Dawn will arrive on February 27! But if you want to try it early, play on the Public Beta Branch. Here’s the tutorial on how to access it.

This season will bring new content to the game, such as: the long-awaited SNOW! ❄️
Even though the next map will mainly be set in the Spring (and the one after will fully be set in the winter 😉), you will see snow in the Carpathians (2x2km), in the East Beskids! You will also be introduced to a new medium-size cave. ⛏️💎

In addition to these, new trucks will be added too:

• The Decin S-3T
  
• The Traun BR-0D
  
• The Mercedes Unimog 2450
  

As for the free content, you'll get a new piece of equipment: the cargo drone, electricity will become a manageable resource, and a replayability system will be introduced (such as customized nameplates, horn and new stickers). There’s much more to come in future seasons so stay tuned!

Let’s end this year with a little competition between all the major trucks released this year. We know you love to debate about vehicles, so let’s settle this fight down!

You can go vote on Focus Together! All votes for the first round are already available, make sure you don’t miss any.
At the end of the tournament, once a winner is crowned, the teams will design an exclusive for the chosen truck!



[h2]⏪ Looking back to where we’ve ventured, to inspire where we’ll go next.[/h2]

It’s time to look back on what happened this year and what’s coming in 2025 of Expeditions!
In March, we released Expeditions: A MudRunner Game! We were eager to hear your first impressions of the game. To make sure we kept creating a game that was true to your expectations, we opened a public beta branch, to let the most dedicated players help us provide feedback on the upcoming content.

In May, we released the free Breaking Ground Update, introducing the caves. It’s a brand new feature we wanted to explore and you enjoyed it!



Two months later we released the long-awaited co-operation mode, allowing you to venture with your best mates.

In September we launched the first season: Cave Odyssee! This season took you to Arizona, in the Sedona region to dig up secrets, such as rare gems and records of a mysterious ancient civilization in a brand-new cave environment. You were invited to collect these treasures and become part of a unique scientific discovery, even if the underground world was trickier to navigate than the surface! But we know you never refuse a challenge.

Recently, Expeditions had a significant Quality of Life update, bringing SnowRunner’s control A scheme, the KHAN 317 Sentinel, and many UI improvements, on top of various bug fixes.





We’re in the closing stages of the development of the game, which means that we’re in the final stretch! We’ll reveal a lot more info starting from early 2025, so stay tuned!



It’s been a long ride since we started our journey with SnowRunner and Expeditions and it's not over (You know, RoadCraft is coming next year, you should definitely keep yourself updated on this title, you’ll love it)!
