Race Option Update 2

This is a straight to live update so please ensure you have opted out of any betas.

AI Opponents
Added options to select the number of opponents in a race from 0 to 7 in single player and 0 to 6 when Co-op is active. I recommend running the races with 3 opponents as there will be less chance of AI crashing into each other and it will also help with frame rates, it's also more inline with games such as Waveracer.

Bug Fixes
1. Race checkpoint buoys will now float on the water correctly
2. When creating a race your steam name will be displayed correctly on the starting grid diplay
3. Tweaked the Typhoons rudder strength so it now turns better a low speed
4. Fury's engine power corrected so it is now reaches its top speed (80kts +)

There will be one more race option update which will add the race course map and race length information to the race setup page. Then it will be full steam ahead for jet skis!

Race Option Update 1

This is a straight to live update. Please ensure that you opt-out of any Betas.

This update if focused on configuring races and so allows you to select your sea conditions, time of day and AI level when starting a Quick Race.

SEA CONDITIONS
Sea conditions are broken down in to approximate Beaufort levels from Calm all the way up to Hurricane. Rougher sea conditions will make racing a lot more challenging. Sea conditions will remain after the race has finished so, for the moment, you can use it to set sea conditions for free play by starting a race and then quitting. I will add sea conditions to the main menu shortly.

TIME OF DAY
Time of day is pretty self explanatory and allows you to race at any time of day. Night racing can be tricky as the checkpoints are not easily visible. I will be updating the checkpoints with lights and an indicator to make visual "Mk1 Eye Ball" navigation easier rather than having to rely on the Sat Nav.

AI LEVEL
AI level can also be adjusted from 50% to 150%. This value currently only effects the power the AI's boat produces. So at 150% they will produce 50% more power than your boat and at 50% they will have half your engine power.

However, their top speed will still be limited to the same level as it does not effect prop/engine RPM values they will just accelerate quicker and hold speed in tight corners better. I would recommend incrementing the value slowly by +-5% depending on whether you want more or less of a challenge. High values may cause the AI's boats to behave unexpectedly.

BUG FIXES
1. Fixed the "Classic Offshore" race which had the starting points facing the wrong way!

Minor Physics Update

This is a straight to Live patch so make sure you are opted out of any Betas.

1. Updates the physics on all boats so they don't "snag" the water as much when in tight turns.
2. Updated the rudder physics so I can now set a relative height for the force. This will be important for the upcoming Jetskis/Jetbikes! The only boat that is actually affect by this is the Typhoon - it will now corner much flatter than before which is more correct for catamaran/tunnel hull craft.
3. Minor turning/power tweaks for Buzzard.

Bug Fix Update

1. Altered the chase camera rig so that it no longer falls into the sea if you go into the main menu!
2. Fixed the water audio for the Fury so that it is fully 3D rather than just stereo.

Map Bug Fix

Fixes the race course route maps so that they align correctly on the MFD
