Tactical roguelike Synthetik 2 will be out in November




The original Synthetik was a shooter that put a lot of thought into the act of shooting. It had active reloads and a recoil mechanic designed to discourage running and gunning, and guns that could jam or overheat—it really wanted you to get a feel for the act of pulling the trigger. We have also decided to move the release date to the 11th of November. This gives us a bit more time to work on a couple new features we wanted to add, like save & resume, more variation in classes, synergy auras for class specializations and needed extra time to polish the new dedicated server based online co-op.

Early Access release date moved

Hi everyone!

Since the first preview build for the Steam Festival in June we have made great progress and your feedback has been very helpful!

Our huge leap into the unknown with a different engine and our unique new UniversEdit framework demanded a lot of preparation work and scaling the company during difficult times.
We had planned to get to the current state of the game a bit earlier but all the groundwork is now starting to pay off and things move very fast at this point.

We don’t feel like the game is quite ready yet however and we want to give you a high quality experience from the start that does not feel “too early”.

As such we have decided to slightly delay the Early Access launch to get things running as smooth as possible and include as much content and polish as possible.

As new for the Early Access launch on Steam we have determined the 29th of September

Until the Early Access launch we will gradually invite more people to the closed Pre-Alpha,
however it will stay limited access until the Early Access launch.
The invites will be announced in the community Discord!

Tactical shooter Synthetik 2 is coming to Early Access




Synthetik: Legion Rising was a top-down 2D roguelike shooter with deep weapon-handling mechanics like movement-based recoil and active reloading, plus some real meaty gun sounds. It was well-received back in 2018, with a user rating of Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam. Berlin studio Flow Fire Games has announced that the sequel, Synthetik 2, will be arriving in Early Access on August 19 with a full release planned for 2022...
