[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p] [/p][p]A lot has happened since we launched the Outskirts demo on Steam earlier this year! The feedback we gathered was invaluable and we spent our time wisely on a wide range of improvements, fixes and optimizations. In addition to expanding beyond the outskirts region featured in the demo, the upcoming full release will include a variety of new features and improvements. [/p]

• [p]UI overhauls and improvements, adding visual flair and functionality(such as inscriptions, cosmetics, etc.)[/p]
• [p]Lighting and visual improvements across the board.[/p]
• [p]Those with sharp ears might notice the final music mixing with nearly all instruments live-recorded by musicians! Really takes the experience up a notch.[/p]
• [p]Big optimizations on all systems and logic.[/p]
• [p]Localization added for multiple languages.[/p]
• [p]Combat balancing and tweaks.[/p]
• [p]Cosmetics have been added, and they can be purchased with Guilders from the tailor or obtained through activities. [/p][p][/p]

[p]Included in the base game, you can dress your Knightling in a range of outfit colours and pick ribbon styles that add some flair. Mix and match to create a look that’s entirely your own![/p][p]
In Clesseia, the main city in the game, Rhapso is the tailor and keeps shop on top of the large bridge. As the Knightling, you can visit the tailor to check out some new outfit colourings, ribbon designs, and styles for Magnustego, the shield!

[/p][p]We took inspiration from the game world, characters, and creatures to make it all fit together. We included the whole team in the brainstorm about what kinds of colour options would be cool. Some were inspired by the roles and jobs you see around the city, some by the environment, and even one inspired by the darker days in life. [/p][p][/p][p]Each region also has a distinct colour option for both the Knightling and the shield, which you can earn through various activities in the game. The tailor loves painting the shield for you as well, so it's definitely worth paying a visit if you want to see how fabulous Magnustego can get![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The Knightling - Deluxe Edition features the base game, plus exclusive in-game cosmetics. Defend the people of Clesseia with regal Golden colours for you and your shield, and light the path of justice with a special lantern ribbon. Our Pine players may recognize we also have a set that’s an ode to Albamare! [/p][p] [/p][p]The Deluxe Edition of The Knightling will be available on August 28 for $34.99 | £25.99 | €34.99 (Standard Edition $29.99 | £ 21.99 | €29.99).[/p][p]

Brave knightlings, the outskirts region has received a small but mighty update! 🛡️ Thanks to your keen eyes and feedback, we’ve made some improvements to The Knightling demo.

• Added a controls reminder screen to settings (key rebinding coming in full game).
  
• The default camera sensitivity has been lowered.
  
• Human soldiers and knights no longer chase you to the edge of the world when attacked.
  
• Added tutorials for nimble-type enemies, healing, and more.
  
• Unlocked the Index of Foes subtab, where you can read about some of the enemies you have encountered.
  
• Fixing an issue where time of day lighting from sky would sometimes be reflected incorrectly on environmental assets.
  
• Fixing an issue where music would sometimes not play during exploration or combat.
  

Additionally, we're working hard on performance optimizations to ensure the game runs smoother on all setups!
