Amazing Fix News

Fix an impossible to find objet

Behind a plant in the greenhouse.

Improved the object inspection interface.

The information for objects that have multiple level of repair is now displayed in the item inspection interface.

Improvements to the cursor accuracy

From now on the cursor will select the closest object around when it is not directly above an object. The goal is that small objects can be more easily selected from a far away distance. It should also be easier to select objects that are around a pile of objects.

If you only see a few pixels of an object, it will still be necessary in several cases that you remove the object above it in order to take the one under.

Let us know how it feel.

New hint: Panel for showing that an object is hiding behind another object.

A panel indicate whether one or more objects can hide behind another object. The goal is to decrease the luck factor for finding small items. On the other hand, the player will now have to use more strategy and observation to win.

COMING NEXT

We will try to improve the precision to detect and click on small objects with the mouse.

Improvements to the lost game sequence

IMPROVEMENT TO THE LOST GAME SEQUENCE

When losing, the items from 1-2 categories closest to being completed are now circled at the end.

The objective is to show the player the solution of the house and that the objects were present.

It is now also possible to navigate and zoom in the house even if the lose panel is displayed.

The code that displays the remaining objects will be reused for a future hint system.

BUGS

- The lose panel disappeared and did not come back when the "space" and "enter" keys were pressed on the keyboard. Fixed.

- The broken floors of the lobby and media room could be invisible. Fixed.

- We had the bug of the unclickable object once. The information allowed us to improve the quality of the code involved. We have not been able to reproduce it since.

COMING SOON

We are working on a hint system that will tell how many objects are totally or partially hidden behind an object. The goal is to increase strategy and observation and reduce the luck factor for finding small items.
