Hi investigators, the version 1.5, inexhaustible concerto, has been updated!
The main content of this update is editor. After update, you can open it from the main screen.
Tutorial of editor
(Only has Chinese for now, we will localise them into English when the editor is stable):

【1. Text module editor】
In the first version, we mainly focused on the text module. You can open it in the main screen.
You can do following things in the editor:
- Creating you own text module
- Changing current explore module
- Directly call in-game art, music, and other materials.
Currently the editor is biased towards the developer functionality version, and although we have written tutorial documentation, there is still a relative barrier to use. The functionality will be optimised in phases at a later stage to make it more streamlined and efficient.

【2. Module Co-creation】
With the available of editor, we plan to start some long-term module co-creation activities. For now, we have three formats of events. Here’s the overview:
- Periodic activities
We will conduct module co-creation activities on a 3-4 month cycle and will choose/vote on a theme and start creating.
Every time we will set some rewards, such as Amazon Gift Card, commemoration in the Temple of Time and Space, and our sincere love(what?)
- Long-term activity
For investigators who don’t want to be restricted by the time/topic of events and want to create freely, we also have incentive programme, such as copyright inclusion, etc.
- Optimize suggestion
If you don't want to participate in the creation activities m, but have suggestions for optimisation of the editor, we will also select some of the investigators to give out thank you packages.
Here's the details:

Periodic activities
- Summary
We will conduct module co-creation activities on a 3-4 month cycle to call a themed module in the Steam Workshop.
First one, we choose the name of this version: inexhaustible concerto as the theme.
- How to vote
We take the form of recommendation scoring, by the investigators to form a recommendation group to recommend, and in the questionnaire to express their views, and finally we(the development team) will count the overall score.
- How to join
For everyone who want to make modules, please add our Discord group:
- Description of theme
Theme: "Unceasing" means non-stop, unending.
It can refer to the never-ending development of events, such as the resurgence of disasters.
It can also refer to the endless pursuit of human desires and pursuits, such as blood feuds and insatiable greed.
Of course, it can also refer to the spiritual inheritance on the level of consciousness, such as the faith that is awakened and the hope that is passed on to others.
(Sorry for my bad English, you can localize them to your friend or other players if you know Chinese well. Many thanks for your help!! Chinese version below: )
Regardless of the angle, it is always sufficient to interpret the theme of the session reasonably and convincingly during the course of the game.
- How to get a reward
We have set 5 types and there are 3 ways to get a reward:
- The results of the votes cast by the members of the Recommendation Group are consolidated.
Sorry everyone, because of the lack of human power and energy, we can’t organize the recommendation group for overseas players(but you can join the QQ group if you could) for the time being. So, for players outside of China who want to join the recommended group , we should say sorry. But we will also open the voting channel for you to choose the modules you like. (module authors can participate in the activity normally)
The voting is divided into three dimensions, which are:
Storytelling, Creativity, Gameplay
- Subscription popularity of Steam Workshop during the event
Besides voting, we will also collect the comments and like/dislike, etc. and will send rewards to the most popular module authors by subscription/rating.
- Prizes for participation
You can get the commemoration in the Temple of Time and Space only if you make a module and upload it to the Workshop.
Because this is the first time that we host such a event, depending on the number of submissions, the number of prizes or other awards may be increased and some of the prizes may be given to the same work over and over again, depending on the circumstances.
- Description
- How to attend
Upload your module to Steam Workshop and add keywords of this theme in the description. There is no limit to the number of characters/materials/scenes in the game.
- Module Type
Text module and the type is short module. The recommended range for optimal length is 30-120 minutes. Due to the many branching possibilities of the run module, there will be no upper limit to the total play time.
- Original Protection
In order to protect other people's work, we do not allow the publication of any content that is not authorised by the original author, such as removing, integrating, modifying or so on.
- NOTICE
Participation will be restricted to works with elements such as pornographic representation, excessive gore representation, and malicious denigration.

Long Term Module Incentive programme
SummaryFor those who don't want to be limited by the time/theme of the event, and want to create freely, or adapt the existing official modules, we have prepared a long-term creation support programme. There are two main types:
① Gift Card support
② Royalty (on computer software)
①Gift Card support
- 【Notes】
A long-term creative support programme for module authors to create their own stories. Module authors can create their own stories or adapt existing official modules without any time limit.
- 【How】
When your work meets a certain number of reviews and positive ratings in the Workshop, Amazon gift cards will be issued for the author.
②Royalty
- 【Notes】
We will continuously screen and select high quality creative content, including but not limited to voice packs, localised translations, character models, game values, episodic modules, story modules and other types of mods.
If it meets the originality requirements, we will pay the royalties and include it in the game body with the author's permission.
- 【How】
The incentives for this programme are royalties and non-exclusive agreements for the creator's work to be included in the game. As Depersonalization makes its way to multi-platform shelves, the artwork will be available on all platforms.

Feedback & Suggestion
- Summary
We’re also very welcome for whom don’t want to attend the creation event but have suggestion for the editor. We will choose some players to send rewards as our many thanks!
- How to join
You can leave your feedback in the Online Documentation:

If you don't feel comfortable with the online document, you can also send it to us at
※We're a little slower to respond to email inboxes as opposed to online documents._(:з」∠)_
At last
In fact, we don't really want to use words like reward/incentive to describe the co-creation activity, because we know that what the we can give to all the investigators is very limited, and can't fully match the creators' contribution to the game in co-creation.
At the same time, our awards can't cover every creator investigator, so in addition to adding the list of participants to the game, once again, we sincerely thank each and every creator, only you will make the playability and depth of content of Depersonalization expand to a level of possibility that we, the production team, will never be able to reach.
Also, since this is the first time we've planned this kind of event, we don't have a lot of experience... plus there's a certain threshold for the editor, so we're worried about a lot of things, such as whether or not there's going to be a lack of participation, whether or not the frequency/period of time/prize determination is going to be inappropriate, and so on and so forth...
But no matter what, we think the most important thing is to start from the first time, and we believe that with the improvement of experience and the editor, it will be better and better.
