The Resident Contract Patch has landed!



The Coville Street contracts have caught the attention of the neighbours, and you’ve got new contracts as a result!
With this patch there’s now over an hour of new contract gameplay across three new contract locations on Coville Street.


We’ve also fixed some bugs and made some quality of life improvements:

• Fixed an issue whereby the player found it difficult to end the contract without re-parking their mower
  
• Fixed an issue where the mower may instantly become destroyed when colliding with the wrong object
  
• Fixed an issue where the pickup truck might clip into the scenery on the Test Drive location
  
• Fixed an issue where some contracts weren’t appearing in career mode as early as they should have been
  
• Fixed an issue where some stone paths were extremely and unnecessarily bumpy
  

As well as many other small tweaks, fixes and improvements

Hello Everyone,

We want to update you that the free content we were aiming to release this month (Blowers) will need some more time. We understand this news may be disappointing to some. We want to ensure that Blowers is at the quality our players deserve and this will require more time. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Our development team have shared a short update to talk about the technical constraints they faced which you can read below:

Blowers is still a feature everyone at Skyhook wants to get into Lawn Mowing Simulator as an update, but we want it to hit the quality bar in terms of gameplay and graphically that we feel we've hit in other areas of the game. We've realised that in its current state, blowers isn't hitting that quality bar if we release the update this month.

Blowers need to interact with the environment much more than string trimmers do - we want them to really whip up grass clippings and leaves - and that presents technical challenges that we haven't resolved yet.

We're continuing to prototype blowers in LMS and are committed to releasing them as soon as we possibly can - it's just something we don't think is ready to release yet.

We will have some exciting news coming to you very soon with other free content in the pipeline so we hope you all understand and let us know what you’d like to see come to LMS in the future.
