Metissa had been secretly planning while her snakes were asleep. She really wanted them to feel like this Spring Festival was the beginning of their year. There would be fireworks, many guests and all their favourite foods: Spring Rolls, Dumplings, and some Sugar Pockets. Tomoko, Lyndel, Zoey, and Scarlet even promised to dress up for the occasion! All that was missing was a photographer for taking pictures... because Theo chased him away (oops!). Can you help out with some pictures in time for the Lantern Festival on 12 February?

Drawing Competition Rules

• Create an original artwork in Draw & Guess
  
• Artwork must include at least one Draw & Guess character shown celebrating the Spring Festival
  
• Submit your artwork to the D&G screenshot section in Steam by 12 February, 12 am Chinese Standard Time, with the hashtag #2025LNYSnake
• Keep it safe for work and original (suspected bot submissions will be disregarded)

• 1st Place: A real-life plushie of Theo + 2500 ink
  
• 2nd Place: 1250 ink
  
• 3rd Place: 850 ink

At this beginning of 2025, our community has grown bigger and bigger thanks to the support from all of you, which we are so grateful for. Since we have released our trust score and report system in August 2024, we have witnessed a great change on the overall game environment. Meanwhile we also received some feedback about our systems with concerns about a few players’ inappropriate behaviour. We would like to share a bit more information about things we have done recently and next steps to maintain a better community environment.

Players deserve to enjoy the game without disruption/abuse from others. In response to various reports we have received regarding disruptive gameplay, we have begun issuing account bans. These will be issued carefully, and with ample verified reports from players.

Going forth, players that modify the game client and abuse exploits to disrupt the gameplay of other players will also face bans.

We encourage all players to consciously maintain a peaceful and friendly atmosphere as well as mutual respect to fully enjoy the game. We strictly forbid any potential behaviour that compromises other players' gaming experience and/or the public social environment. If you witness or experience any such behaviour, please collect and send evidence to the team. You can also use the in-game reporting system. We will then review the reports and take any appropriate action.

Thank you all for your ongoing support. We will continue to take measures to help maintain the community environment and bring more joy to the community. We have some exciting news and plans for 2025 that we are eager to share when the time comes! Stay tuned for some Steam announcements!

All the characters continued partying well into the night. At one point neighbour Eli the mammoth came over to complain about the noise, but he just ended up staying and partying along. And when Christmas finally came, they all celebrated together and looked forward to the new year.
