Demeo Doubles Mode is Now Live!



Hello adventurers,

We have some great news for you today – the doubles mode is now live! This means that you can jump into a private game room with a friend and control a full party of heroes together, two for you and two for them.

To launch a game in doubles mode, start a private multiplayer game and select ‘two heroes per player’.

  • We’ve also added some improvements to the game including:
  • Polished some UI
  • The PC Edition pause menu now displays the floor number and the name of the specific map you're on
  • Fixed an issue where enemies close to the entrance had to be defeated in order to finish the level (Serpent Lord levels only)
  • Fixed bug where the number of enemies to defeat in order to exit a level sometimes was wrong for joining players
  • Pieces that cannot perform actions do no longer run away when panicked
  • Fixed issues with dice getting stuck after rolling
  • Made all healing ability notifications consistent
  • Cána and Verochka no longer attack Spore Fungi and Spider Eggs, unless ordered to do so
  • After breaking a lamp with Master's Call, Cána will no longer walk to where that lamp was placed
  • Players no longer hit themselves when missing a melee attack
  • Invulnerability no longer prevents counter damage from triggering
  • Invulnerability now clears all negative status effects and prevents you from acquiring them
  • The camera has been removed from the painting room in Heroes’ Hangout in VR

We just released a hotfix to solve some issues that were introduced in the last update. Thank you for your patience! The hotfix includes:
  • Fixed an issue where dice would remain on the board
  • Fixed an issue where text popups would stay on the screen
  • Fixed an issue where enemies would sometimes look distorted
  • Fixed an issue where the card hand would sometimes stop working on the PC edition

We hope you’ve been enjoying the Curse of the Serpent Lord adventure so far! Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard on bug fixes. We hope this will further improve your experience! You can find the full list below:

  • Fixed an issue where rolling the die would cause frame drops
  • Guiding Light no longer freezes in place if a valid path to an undiscovered key bearer cannot be found
  • Fixed bug where the warlock would sometimes receive a prototype card
  • Fire Immunity Potion, Ice Immunity Potion and Adamant Potion can now be used on Cána
  • Fixed various graphical issues related to picking up board pieces
  • Fixed various bugs where Cána's skin would revert to the level 1 skin when she leveled up
  • Fixed Cána’s level not restoring to its original level when loading a saved game (unfortunately this means previous saves will not load properly, new saves after this patch will work as intended)
  • Fixed issue where Cána would not follow the warlock through portals
  • Fixed animation issue when the warlock is downed
  • Rejuvenation now heals non-player allies such as Cána
  • Cána can now attack the Hydra
  • Corrupted friendlies now use proper melee abilities instead of not animating
  • Cána now has the correct level when reconnecting to a game
  • Rift Servant can no longer banish the Hydra
  • Feral Charge now sets Cána's chase and guard states properly
  • Cána no longer attacks remotely after having been forcefully moved from the tile she is guarding
  • Fixed bug where there were sometimes fewer eye tiles than intended on the boss level in the desert
  • Fixed an issue where the desert boss would display info panels at incorrect or inconvenient times when hovered in the PC Edition
  • Removed irrelevant stats on Water Flask and Overcharge cards
  • UI Art polish on PC
  • Fixed bug that caused the visual state of doors, chests and other interactables to be out of sync after a host migration
  • Fixed bug with desert merchant's visual state not being synced properly between host and clients
  • Muted desert merchant when entering a new floor
  • Added SFX and VFX when Astral Strike hits a target
  • Proper values are now shown on the Scroll of Tsunami and the range of the attack corresponds to the length of the wave
  • Improved visual feedback when Reptilian Mage spawns a Corruption Sliver
  • Fixed bug where corruption spawned on eye tiles in boss level
  • Fixed bug where the assassin would get stealth back immediately after stealth expired
  • Various balance adjustments
  • New Jeweled Scarab plushie in Heroes’ Hangout in VR


We will continue to work on more fixes, including the issue with stuck notifications.

Curse of the Serpent Lord Is Out Now!



Your journey continues into the harsh desert. The mighty warlock Oana has joined the party and it’s time to face the corrupted evil hiding in the sand-covered city of Izteria.

New Environment: Ronth Desert is a harsh environment and the corrupted evil that hides in the sand-covered city of Izteria is not to be taken lightly. Eight new levels have been added, three of which will be used in each play-through.

New Hero: the mighty warlock Oana joins the party together with her trusty astacat Cána. Level up your companion to become more powerful and use strong magic spells to lead your party to victory.

New Enemies: new dangers await you, including Ronthian scorpions, reptilian fighters, followers of Iztir and more.

New Boss: the giant serpent is considered the embodiment of the God Iztir itself, but is this... Hydra as it seems?

New Cards: use the array of powerful warlock spells such as Portal of Nózh, Guiding Light and Astral Strike. Two additional non-class bound cards have been added – Scroll of Tsunami and Scroll of Lightning, as well as a bunch of new potions and a potion stand.

New NPC: visit the Trader and he might exchange his goods for certain types of treasure.

There may be some issues with the new update and we want to let you all know that we’re working on fixes to be released next week. These are some of the bugs we’re working on fixes for:

  • Problem with the die being laggy, causing frame drops when throwing the die
  • Guiding Light sometimes freeze in place if a valid path to an undiscovered key bearer cannot be found
  • Fire Immunity Potion, Ice Immunity Potion and Adamant Potion can’t be used on Cána
  • Various graphical issues related to picking up board pieces
  • Various bugs with Cána's skin reverting to the level 1 skin when she is leveled up
  • Minion level not restoring to its original level when loading a saved game
  • Minion not following warlock through portals. A workaround until next week is to wait for the portal to despawn, at which point the minion will teleport to where the warlock is on their next turn.
