Demeo Battles will launch as a standalone game!



We know that you've been itching to know more about Demeo Battles, the competitive PvP entry in the Demeo universe, and today we wanted to let you know that it will be a standalone title!

Since its initial announcement in the Demeo Roadmap in 2021, we've seen Demeo Battles grow from a gameplay prototype into a full experience of its own. Demeo Battles will give you a new way to take part in the world of Demeo, with an added layer of depth and competition that’s unlike anything players have seen before.

Game Patch - March 2nd



Greetings Adventures,

Great news - a new game patch has just been released! We've been working hard to fix some pesky bugs and make some improvements to the achievement system. We can't wait for you to try it out and explore the dungeons even more.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where the hand menu would not open if all your heroes were eliminated.
  • Fixed an issue which would cause player turns to be skipped.
  • Fixed an issue where pieces would show as black squares after getting hit.
  • Fixed an issue where the teleport effect would show as white spheres.
  • Fixed an issue where the hand menu was showing incorrect localization.
  • Fixed an issue where text would be incorrectly displayed when getting counter attacked.
  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to discard cards with the mouse during other players turns.
  • Changed Spider Eggs and Spore Fungus to no longer block the level exit.
  • Changed Spore Fungus to no longer be able to be backstabbed.
  • Removed Spore Fungus ability to multiply.

[h2]Achievements[/h2]
  • The Rampage: Kills done outside the player team's turn now counts for progression.
  • Pest Control: Spider Eggs and Rat Nests now count for progression.
  • Pest Control: Friendly Spiders and Rats no longer count for progression.
  • Greedy: Fixed a few issues which prevented this achievement from progressing.
  • Improved handling of achievements in the game.

Game Update - Bug Fixes, Graphics Improvements & Achievements!



Greetings adventurers,

Today we’re welcoming new players to the game and we also took the opportunity to implement some fixes.

[h2]Patch notes[/h2]
  • Loading a saved game will now set it to private by default.
  • Added an option for the host in the settings menu to change the privacy of a game while playing.
  • Added the possibility to open the VR hand menu while selecting heroes.
  • Added an indication of unplayable cards for downed heroes.
  • Updated the 3D models of several monsters.
  • Added easier user reporting.
  • Added achievements.
  • Improved the visuals of the basement.
  • Demeo can now be played with users on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2.

Season’s greetings, adventurers!

We just released a patch with some nifty fixes and improvements right before the holidays.

Patch notes:
  • Changed the Elven Summoner's Deflect ability to single-target instead of a 3x3 area of effect
  • Changed the Beggar to now trade a maximum of 4 cards per party
  • Fixed an issue that caused NPC and boss tile highlights to disappear when canceling an action
  • Fixed colliders in a few new levels that prevented cards from being played on certain tiles
  • Fixed an issue where the gold count would display incorrectly on PC/flatscreen
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to start NPC interactions outside of their turn
  • Fixed an issue where players froze when trying to enter Heroes’ Hangout
  • Fixed an issue where players would sometimes softlock when a warlock left the game session
  • Fixed an issue where the Elven King would visually appear on the board when he was actually on the throne
  • Fixed issue where heroes would sometimes fail to show as ready in the shop
  • Polished and fixed various menus of the game
  • Added minor gamepad support fixes
  • Tweaked lighting in Curse of the Serpent Lord levels
  • Fixed various visual bugs to Reign of Madness levels
  • Added improvements to the camera in Reign of Madness levels
  • Fixed various animation bugs with the Elven King
  • Added visual improvements to the mixed reality mode
  • Updated water visuals
  • Archer Glove cosmetic no longer hides GUI
