Gameplay Mutators BETA 6

Hey folks!

This BETA patch improves several things, and takes care of a couple of issues.
We're slowly getting closer and closer to release, as so far the update has all the things I've wanted to implement.
I'd appreciate it if you folks tested the 'mutatorsupdate' branch out!

Version 1.3.0 BETA 6:
- when dynamic rain is enabled, it's intensity and surface wetness increases over time, which leads to the background noise increasing over time, and the footsteps starting to sound "wet" gradually over time, instead of instantly
- added the ability to enable rain, and force-disable rain for levels in the level editor
- german, portuguese-brasil, spanish, turkish, russian localization updates
- fixed the "load mags" tool using up a gadget weapon slot
- fixed player-unbound actions being reset back to their default keys when starting the game
- fixed an under-the-hood problem with the rain

Accessing the beta branch

Simply right-click on Intravenous in your game list, click on 'Properties', switch over to the 'BETAS' tab, and opt into the "mutatorsupdate" beta.
Once the game finishes updating, you're good to go!
As always, since this is a BETA release, don't expect it to be stable. Expect bugs and/or crashes.

ATTENTION! PLEASE READ!

If you opt into the beta, use the "Magazine system" gameplay mutator, save, switch back to the 1.2.X version of the game, then that savefile will not load, as it contains a new weapon (mag loader tool) which is not present in the pre-mutator update version of the game.

Gameplay Mutators BETA 5

Hey folks!

This BETA patch adds a new gameplay mutators, and takes care of a couple of things.
This patch applies some optimizations to a critical part of the game, so some testing would be appreciated.

Version 1.3.0 BETA 5:
- added joystick controls to the gameplay mutators menu
- new gameplay mutator: dynamic rain - rain might start as you're playing through a level... or it might not
- fixed environment sounds that fade in/out always starting out with volume at 100%, resulting in an audible "on" sound for a single frame when it starts playing
- minor CPU optimizations

Accessing the beta branch

Simply right-click on Intravenous in your game list, click on 'Properties', switch over to the 'BETAS' tab, and opt into the "mutatorsupdate" beta.
Once the game finishes updating, you're good to go!
As always, since this is a BETA release, don't expect it to be stable. Expect bugs and/or crashes.

Gameplay Mutators BETA 4

Hey folks!

This BETA patch brings all around fixes and progress.

Version 1.3.0 BETA 4:
- implemented several fixes present in version 1.2.16
- when the magazine system is enabled ammo will now be converted to magazines in the shooting range section of the prologue
- russian localization tweaks
- rain splash variety improved
- purchasing a weapon with the currency system enabled now plays a simple sound
- fixed MK23 being locked when the currency system mutator is enabled
- fixed the aim line disappearing when there is an object the player can interact with
- fixed aim object outline disappearing at times
- fixed doors being "aimable" (being able to aim at them was a debug feature, that I forgot to disable, to test the object outline system)
- shell casings should no longer remain active forever (emitting a lot of sounds while they're at it) in some certain cases

Accessing the beta branch

Game patch 1.2.16

Hey folks!

This patch fixes a couple of problems.

Version 1.2.16:
- fixed being able to interact with objects while picking up a body
- fixed one of the broken windows in 'Druggie Ghetto' being unclimbable
- fixed a rare crash related to removing objects from actors
- fixed a rare crash related to ammo pickups

Gameplay Mutators BETA 3

Hey folks!

This BETA patch mainly focuses on adjusting some things with the mag system, in response to player feedback.

Version 1.3.0 BETA 3:
- when the player unloads a weapon the mag type of which is not used by any of their weapon, the player will now always receive the ammo used by the weapon, instead of the magazine in case the player had space for it
- swapping magazines that are lying on the floor will now fill up the player's ammo of the swapped magazine (less full), and place the remainder back on the floor
- adjusted fonts used by the mag loader tool
- when finishing loading a magazine with no ammo remaining, the mag loader tool will no longer go back to the weapon selection phase if the player can still merge magazines for the weapon that he just finished loading up the mag for
- portuguese (brasil), german, russian localization updates
- fixed some object interaction inconsistencies with picking up loaded magazines with the magazine system enabled
