Beta Updates

Hello everyone! Here is a balance, bug fix patch that also adds new stuff to the beta. Hope you enjoy and your feedback is appreciated!


[h3]Balance[/h3]
  • New Rule for Darkness: Only 3 of the same skill can appear at the same time.
  • Starting rune regeneration increased from 2 ->3
  • Darkness Multicast Rule: Everytime you play a skill, chance to gain 1P 1B runes. This chance is equal to multicast chance. ( We initially had multicast not do anything for darkness but then realised its too punishing for certain builds and Clans, so we added this rule, tell us what you think)
  • Preparation: Convoke 1 random skill changed to -> Convoke first skill slot
  • Soulshock is now exhaust. Rune cost 15P 5B changed to -> 5P 5B
  • Void Ray is now Overwhelming.
  • Essence Nexus: Heal 10HP gain 10 B Exhaust changed to -> Gain 10 maxHP and 10 P Exhaust. Rune cost 3B changed to -> 10B
  • Moon Fang Rune cost 4P changed to -> 2P
  • Umbral Legacy Rune cost 10P changed to -> 8P
  • Heaven-Piercer Rune cost 6P changed to -> 3P
  • Abyssal Onslaught is now Overwhelming
  • Rivers of Corruption has a bonus effect: If this skill is convoked this turn, then 2 corrupt to all enemies.
  • Soul Tear is now Overwhelming. Rune cost 12P changed to -> 8P
  • Phantom Execution Rune cost 8P changed to -> 6P
  • Vanquish is now Overwhelming
  • Darkness Cascade Rune cost 10P changed to -> 8P
  • New Skill Nightshade: Passive. If this skill is convoked this turn, gain 10P and 10B
  • King of the Damned:Level 21: Every Night, gain 1 bonus Perk choice changed to -> every 3 nights.

[h3]New Features[/h3]
  • Reroll has been added. Reroll starts as Free(0gold) cost to incrementing 100g per each use during a run. The button showing the current gold cost will be added next week! Note: Reroll does not work in Infinity mode yet, this will also be implemented soon.
  • We also added Game Seeds, that will disable quit/reload game trick to reroll any choice options. You can also share each other your own Game Seeds or enter someone elses Game seeds simply by typing it or copying it where you see Game Seed on bottom right of character selection screen.
  • We are introducing a new special stat for some skills. Overwhelming: this skill gains double effects from Power. Thanks to the feedback of suggesting a way to keep high cost skills relevant in late game.
  • Rune regeneration for Darkness is now shown in character screen

[h3]Bugs[/h3]
  • Fixed Grand Ancestry damage to not be affected by any source. It is now fixed 50HP loss.
  • Fixed Veil Surge damage to not be affected by any source. It is now fixed 10HP loss.
  • Fixed Ebon Mastery damage to not be affected by any source. It is now fixed 30HP loss.
  • Clan Astrum Invulnerable Talent renamed to -> Exposed
  • Fixed Quit/reload causing infinite rune regeneration in Darkness.
  • Deredian playing Darkness - when using lord skill instead of getting used up it gets 1 turn cooldown, so you can use it again at no cost next turn. - FIXED
  • High Priest causing Darkness runes to go below 0. Fixed.
  • On night 21, attacking the paladins proc the AP loss as if i'd attacked the pope. the pope has not been hit- FIXED
  • Shrouded Paragorn: now correctly reduced cooldown by 1 if Bloody Sovereign talent is active.

Darkness and Clan Astrum is live in Beta!

Greetings! We are pleased to announce that our next major patch(1.0) is close! We would like to invite you to participate in the beta for this patch and provide us with feedback before release.

The beta currently has Darkness and Clan Astrum as new playable School & lord.
Keep in mind Darkness animations and sound effects are still work in progress and we will update those during the Beta cycle.

Your game save should translate to Beta.

Note: Beta is only available in English.

Here is how you can participate in the beta:

Right click on the game in the Library > Click Properties...



Go to Betas tab, then select "Beta" in the drop-list of beta programs.



Steam will automatically download the Beta version of the game. You can close it afterward.

After changing your Beta selection, you'll be asked to restart the Steam client.
If Steam does not automatically download, then you might need to restart Steam.

Hotkeys & UI Scale

Hello everyone, we added ability to change hotkeys in the settings >key bindings as shown below.

We fixed the UI scaling on different resolutions so that the tooltips scale properly as well.

[h3]Bugs[/h3]
  • Fixed Momentum bug where momentum bar could go to minus values.
  • Setback Description is changed in other languages.
  • The Unlife Concoction trinket merge did not show all 3 required trinkets correctly- fixed.
  • Inquisitor's Sword description changed in other languages.
  • Some description typos that showed "link>" have been fixed.

Hotfix

Hello everyone! We have a new Hotfix patch.

  • Fixed Trap loop bug. Game was getting stuck on loop if Golem veteran landed on damaging traps.
  • Castle C bonuses (extra rooms etc) not working if game is restarted from "retry" button > fixed
  • The visitor event increasing merchant cost now properly works.

Hello everyone! We have a new Hotfix patch.

  • Fixed an issue with some skills not showing correct bloodcost.
  • Fixed an issue with soul cost of some skills showing twice.
  • Insanguinar skill tooltip was saying magical damage, however damage was physical, this is fixed
  • Fixed most buff stack and descriptions on localization
  • Empowered Untouchable now correctly gives 10 extra armor aswell
  • Adjudicate tooltip has been changed.
  • During choice skill, magical and physical was inversed in many languages, this is fixed
  • Grand Appel skill wasn't showing corect damage type in french in the skill tooltip, fixed
  • Necomancy soul bar tooltip now correctly translated in other languages. French one is fixed according to feedback.
  • Action Points tooltip now correctly translated in current languages. French one is fixed according to the feedback.
  • Clan Pahlen Architecte description has been changed in french according to the feedback.
  • Gainslimit changed to Gains in recast explanation of some skills
  • limite d'utilization changed to utilization in french tooltips.
  • Momentum description changed in french
  • Changed typo with >plasma
  • Collector's trinket now provides stats from veterans correctly
