STREAM-A-THON[/h2]
There is a stream-a-thon event of Crooks Like Us starting right now until 12 noon GMT tomorrow, consisting of 24 different Twitch streamers from around the world playing the game on their channel for 1hr 15mins each. This will cause an overlap in streams, ensuring there will be constant players online as well as non-stop streaming of the game for a full 24 hours!

[h2]TWITCH INTEGRATION[/h2]
If you are a Twitch streamer and want to give your viewers a fun interactive experience while playing the game, you can connect your account via the settings menu. This gives your viewers the ability to launch some of the crazy gadgets at you in the game using the chat!

Hello everyone!!

As you probably already know, Crooks Like Us is arriving on the 17th March for PC and Mac on Early Access - That's just ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!

[h2]LET'S HAVE A CHAT ON DISCORD![/h2]



A Q&A voice channel will appear on our Discord at 5pm on launch day. Everyone is welcome to pop in and ask any questions or just have a wee chat with us! (Feel free to use the text instead if you'd prefer!).

If you feel brave enough, you can also challenge us to a Crooks Like Us match and see if you can beat us at our own game!

[h2]24HR STREAM-A-THON![/h2]

We are teaming up with 24 different Twitch Streamers that will be playing Crooks Like Us for 1hr 15mins each, starting at 12pm GMT on 17th March (launch day).

All the details of which streamers are palying at what times are on our Discord along with links to each of their Twitch channels.

This will help to make sure there will people online to play with for at least 24 hours when the game comes out!

We're so excited to finally share this version of the game with you all, and we hope a lot of you can come and join us for a few games on the day!

Hello everyone,

We're looking forward to sharing a new and improved version of Crooks Like Us with you all as a demo during the Steam Festival next week!! We thought we'd let you know in advance what cool new things you can expect to try out.

[h2]Introducing New Gamemodes - Selected Before Starting the Game:[/h2]

(Last Crook Standing)

• Free For All - the standard game mode from before, earn as much money as you can before time runs out, win the most to win
  
• Teams - standard game mode but with teams
  
• First to 25k - standard game mode but the first to reach a cumulative score of 25k wins the game and ends the game early - adds a lot of tension
  
• Stack Race - only one item spawns at a time, your stack cannot break from tilting too much, first to get a stack of 10 wins the game
  
• Last Crook Standing - you get 5 lives, you lose a life when hit by a flying object or when dashed into, you lose when you’ve got 0 lives, be the last crook alive to win
  
• Capture The Flag - "Crooks" "Like" "Us" logo pieces spawn throughout the level, grab those items anywhere in your stack in the correct order ("Us" at the bottom, "Crooks" at the top) to get a point
  

[h2]Levels Now Have Mini Puzzles to Get Access to a Safe[/h2]

• Break the safe open by tossing it on the ground to get access to a bronze statue worth 5k
  
• The jewellery shop level has a safe behind a laser wall which can only be opened with a guard - throw a knocked out guard at the lasers, or have one on your stack to open the laser wall
  
• The temple level has a button which requires a certain stack height to lower a pillar to get access to a safe

[h2]Some More New Features and Improvements...[/h2]

• Rockets, anvils and bananas now leave decals to show how destructive the crooks are
  
• You can now dash with a stack to make a quick turn to help with maneuvering and dodging
  
• You can now throw items from your stack one at a time to give you more chances to hit someone
  
• You can now throw things into the back of the van - but you only ever get a 1x multiplier for that
  
• The “lights out” gadget now has a cool green nightvision effect
  
• The punch wall is improved
  
• The valuable golden statue in the safe worth 10k can now be broken into two pieces worth 5k each, so be careful not to drop it
  
• Improved controller support

Crooks Like Us is a chaotic online multiplayer where you get to steal everything you see! Carry as many items as you can to your getaway van before time runs out - a higher stack gets you more points. Fight your way to 1st place as you use gadgets like anvils, ice, earthquakes and more to mess with other players!
