We have been checking out all our community's feedback and working on a new patch to introduce a few changes and fixes after the #CityStories expansion.

A few days ago, we released the new Patch 1.3.1, bringing the following adjustments right away:

• Opening packages will not block the menus anymore. Now there's no excuse not to upgrade that set-up!
  
• Adam's mission for the NT code can now be completed. Get on that pen drive stick hunt!
  
• Several adjustments in your UI to make navigation easier for you.
  
• There've been adjustments to wider screen resolutions to prevent any loss of information.
  
• We've given the starting splash screen a nice makeover to celebrate the #CityStories update.
  
• Many other minor tweaks and fixes to improve your game experience.

We have been releasing various events, upgrading the experience with different updates and patches, and doing some giveaways through our Discord server and Twitter channel! We hope that you are enjoying your road to fame with the new features and gameplay added in the #CityStories Update! We are so glad to receive your feedback and keep improving the game in a new upcoming hotfix coming soon.

Below you can check some issues and questions we have been receiving, along with some workarounds until the new patch is live:

[h3]Main reported issues and temporary workarounds[/h3]

Game menus may get blocked after opening a new package.
We are working on fixing this issue in the upcoming hotfix. If you have ever experienced it, you can unlock the menu again by going to sleep and moving on to the next day.



If your backpack is full and you try to pick up a new item, the item may disappear if you leave the place
We are fixing this bug in the next patch too. Until then, try to keep some empty slots in your backpack before exploring and completing any quest. If you find a new item and your backpack is full already, you can dump or sell items to get some free space right away, and then pick up the new item again, but don't leave the scene to avoid the item disappearing!

If you are at home and you are going to go out to start a new adventure, you can also save some of your items in your storage to get some empty slots before it. Also, don't forget that you can expand your backpack with additional slots at Geektopia to be able to carry more items at once!



General minor bugfixing

• We are fixing the block when opening the camera or Map while drinking water
  
• We are fixing the bug that prevents players from completing Adam's "Five videos with secrets" quest.
  
• Some typos in the dialogues will be revised.
  
• Other minor fixes will be fixed.
  

[h3]Other frequently asked questions:[/h3]

New cutscenes and rewards from friendship quests do not show up in old save games.
With the #CityStores Free Update Launch, we have improved several cutscenes and dialogues when building a new relationship with NPCs, as well as new rewards after completing some of their stories, but these improvements will just appear for relationships you haven't completed yet. If there are some NPCs you want to grow a friendship with, and you haven't struck up a relationship with them yet, this is your chance to start it right away!



Taking photos with video games in the background does not capture the trend for Instalife.
To allow you to focus on capturing specific trends rather than capturing several others unintentionally, we've slightly adjusted the trends-catching system, making it no longer possible to capture a video game trend when it is placed in the background. Just pick it up, hold it and then take a nice pic to capture the trend! This will help you capture only the trends you want for your channel.
