Celebrate the day of love with romantic content for your channel and get the exclusive Valentine's Day chocolate for your beloved partner! To get this rare trend, you will need to visit a themed booth at any of these three locations:

[h3]Easter on Spring 21: Get the #Easter trend![/h3]
Easter is one of the Mayoress' favorite celebrations of the year, and so she organizes a game where you will need to find three Easter Eggs dispersed throughout the city to claim the exclusive Easter Day prize. If you find them all and tell the Mayoress, you will earn the large egg basket that you can use to decor your place or capture the themed trend to boost your next video. The places where you can find each Easter egg are random, but there will be at least one in each neighborhood, so keep an eye on each corner to pick them up.

The biggest gaming event of the year takes place from 22 to 26 Spring, and various activities are going on around it, just like the console conference #MantendoConference, or the special Mayamoto's quest to get the rare #PiranhaPlant, or the inauguration event with the #StartThePlayCon trend. There's also a special day in the city dedicated to the scariest season of the year. Find themed decorations, and disguised citizens all around the place to get the unique trend of this day. You can also buy the pumpkin in the exclusive booth at three different locations:

[h3]AFK Tournaments every Sunday: Get the #AFKTournaments trend![/h3]
There are gaming tournaments every Sunday at the AFK Bar in the Center, and sometimes even famous youtubers play at it. Here you can also participate and play in the competition, stream live to win one of the top trends of the day, or eat to refill some energy. Suzy, the Queen of the Tournament, has beaten the best gamers in the city so, if you unlock her heart quest, you may challenge her to become the new master of the event, or you can just record the match to get the trend and engage your followers with fresh content.




[h3]Christmas Holidays from 24 to 28 Winter: Get #Christmas trends![/h3]
Enjoy the jolliest season of the year and get new special trends by streaming close to the big Christmas Tree of the embellished City Hall Plaza: #ChristmasTree and #Christmas, both with a high rarity that will boost your upcoming content. You will also get a cute Christmas Tree to decor your home and have access to the trend at any time.

As we promised, the new Patch 1.2.2 based on your feedback is now live!

This update addresses some of the most frequently reported issues since the game was released and introduces further improvements to stability and gaming experience. Here is the full list of fixes and changes:

[h2]Updated minigames[/h2]
Recording minigame:

• Balanced the progress of the minigame: now you can get better scores as your level increases and it will be easier to shuffle good cards to record better videos. Also, the reaction of the character after completing the recording has been adjusted to show that the video is successfully finished.
  
• Now the emojis can be completely filled if you are close enough to fill them after finishing the recording, allowing you to get better scores.
  
• "REGULAR" type clips have been removed when recording a video.
  

Editing minigame:

• If there are enough render points and coins left, a message now appears saying that effects can be added to clips before publishing.
  

Publishing videos:

• Your character will better show the excitement of publishing videos according to your level as a youtuber.
  

[h2]Onboarding[/h2]

• Added new indications about how to use trends when publishing a new video.
  
• Adjusted the trend capture tutorial to make it more understandable.
  
• Initial coins have been increased, allowing you to take advantage of your first savings to get new stuff from the very beginning and start your new life right away.
  
• An additional quest has been added to emphasize the progression as an emerging youtuber. Start reaching the top 75th position and keep growing to be the greatest youtuber of all times.
  

[h2]Trends and secrets[/h2]

• Now trends related to a specific location are displayed on the map.
  
• Now you can check trends information about their type and location each day through your mobile.
  
• Added related trends to InstaLife posts, thus giving some clues about their location.
  
• Now secret characters will only appear on the streets, thus making it easier to find them.
  
• Pendrives are now better dispersed throughout the city and they appear since the beginning of the game, which makes these main quest items easier to find by chance.
  

[h2]Commissions and Quests[/h2]
Commissions:

• Taking photos as a commission feature has been introduced earlier in the game.
  
• Commissions rewards have been balanced to make them less necessary for progression, allowing you to focus on other quests of your choice to grow as a youtuber.
  
• Included additional indications when you pick the first package up for delivery.
  
• Added additional information about the type and location of trends required to complete a commission.
  

Quests:

• Now you can record any video to complete the quest #PlayCon.
  
• Now you can pin up to three quests to your HUD, allowing you to follow up more missions at once.
  
• Pin icon has been replaced with a more proper one.
  
• Quests pinned on your HUD now include days.
  
• Getting the ticket to PlayCon is now a side mission.
  
• PlayCon ticket price has been adjusted.
  
• PlayCon quest now indicates the time left until the event, allowing you to check how many days you have to complete the mission.
  
• Adjusted texts now remind the day that PlayCon starts.
  
• Once you get enough coins to purchase the ticket for PlayCon, the drone tells you where you can buy it.
  
• Characters related to the FreeTicketChallenge are now in transit areas, making them easier to find.
  
• Now just two photos are needed to complete the FreeTicketChallenge quest.
  
• Now it is also indicated how many photos are left to complete the FreeTicketChallenge quest.
  

[h2]Events, Apps, and General Features[/h2]

• Night time has been adjusted, thus reducing the hours when the drone's night vision is necessary to record videos. This will give you the chance to record outside later even if you haven't got this upgrade yet.
  
• Night Vision upgrade price has been reduced.
  
• A new scooter stop has been added near the Port house.
  
• The map app has been improved.
  
• Added new instructions at the beginning of the scooter exam.
  
• Added new instructions when you fail the scooter exam.
  
• Introduction to the scooter exam has been updated to make it more understandable.
  
• Now you can buy up to 4 games per day in Retro World.
  
• The seller has been placed outside the Retro World Store to give you additional instructions about it.
  
• Added a new message that indicates whether an item has been sent to the storage.
  
• Improved the reaction cards album: now it shows the name of the character who will give you a new reaction card when completing their mission, and all trends' names are now included in the album.
  
• You can access the PlayCon VIP zone now from the Gold League.
  

[h2]NPCs[/h2]

• Added a new message from the drone after taking your first photo with an NPC to indicate how the relationships work.
  
• Added real-time location information of the NPCs you already know in your Contacts app. Also, don't forget to check out the Character schedule section from our Youtubers Life 2 guide to know more about their daily life.
  

[h2]HUD and Updated Guides[/h2]

• Added a new icon on some NPCs to show if there's any action available with them. This will happen when you meet a known NPC who has a new quest available, or if you haven't spoken to them that day yet, or if there are available dialogues during an event, or if they expect to receive a package through an accepted commission.
  
• Energy increase/decrease are numerically displayed on the energy bar.
  
• Fixed an issue with the speed of our Drone's messages.
  
• Now the Drone's messages are properly queued when there is more than one at the same time.
  
• The Drone now reminds you that you can record a video using trends you have captured if you have enough energy before ending the day.
  
• Added a new animation while recording a video.
  
• Added a shortcut to the map.
  
• More NPCs will look at you as you grow as youtuber and get into new leages, and a new popup is also added to show the excitement of your subscribers.
  

[h2]Bug Fixing and minor improvements[/h2]

• Fixed the Pendrives lost during a quest after using them, and the drone message won't display.
  
• Fixed the AM/PM format times, that now don't show double ""00s"".
  
• Fixed problems with corrupted save games.
  
• All trends are now displayed in those places where there are several trends.
  
• Circles on the grounds for photos have been removed so as not to be confused with the recording points.
  
• Fixed a bug in the InoxTag's quest.
  
• Fixed a bug in the Crainer's quest.
  
• Fixed a blocking bug during Suzy's heart scene.
  
• Fixed a bug when publishing a video through the editing workshop.
  
• Trends assigned to conferences are now displayed at the exit.
  
• Fixed a bug that slowed down the time since the second year.
  
• Fixed a visual bug that shows trends on InstaLife out of the post.
  
• HUD buttons now work properly when riding a scooter.
  
• Fixed a bug that prevented recording ""Analysis"" videos in the PlayCon.
  
• Fixed a bug that prevented energy consumption.
  
• NPCs on the streets are no longer shown on the subway in the Map App.
  
• Fixed a crash with the Arabic configuration.
  
• Fixed the widescreen display.
  
• Fixed an issue that caused some trends to lose progress.
  
• Fixed the bouncing when scrolling on InstaLife's feed.
  
• Removed the dates of furniture, clothing, and food in stores.

• Improved the keyboard control when moving a character.
  
• Adjusted the default resolution to 1920x1080.

To begin your life as an emerging spooky youtuber, you can create your character and choose between different skin tones, and even add some scars and other facial features. Also, you will be able to get horrifying customizations items along your adventure for an even scarier look!



[h2]NewTube City Celebrates Halloween on 1st Autumn![/h2]
Just like in the real-life, there's a special day in the city dedicated to this scary season. On the 1st of Autumn in NewTube City, the whole city is celebrating Halloween! and you will find themed decorations, new booths, and disguised citizens all around the place. Explore the city and get the exclusive pumpkin to decor your home.



[h2]Decorate your home in different creepy ways![/h2]
There are so many ways to design your place, from gamer furniture and accessories to gothic items and ornaments! Customize your place with your preferred style and include the pumpkin to create your perfect wicked atmosphere.

Tips to become the best youtuber

1. Enjoy your day: there are plenty of things to do at NewTube City, but that doesn’t mean you need to cover all of them. Nobody expects you to do so!
   
   
2. FOMO? No way!: forget your fear of missing out. You couldn’t find the three Play-Con characters and get the free ticket? You will have more options in the upcoming days! Have you missed the famous comic artist event? Geektopia is so cool he will come back another day, for sure! If there’s something crucial, the game will let you know by displaying a timer on the quest information.
   
   
3. Good morning! Let’s open Instalife: InstaLife is your best source of information. NewTube City habitants are always talking about the latest trends and events in the city! Check it out every morning to identify the best trends and what’s going on.
   
   
4. Know your subscribers: you can check your subscriber’s morale at the top left corner. The happier they are, the more views your videos will have from them! To keep them happy, post content on Instalife, upload videos, and avoid using too much click-baiting… or they will feel tricked.
   
   
5. Become a trend expert: each trend has a popularity level, but also a small icon at the left side that gives a hint about where you can find the trend. Click on the button "Show details" to see the different kinds.

There are cool trends… and best trends within the coolest ones, just like #Cats in the screenshot below!: sometimes you will spot that some trends also have a small icon at the right side showing a smartphone in landscape mode. That means if you take a picture of that trend and post it on Instalife, the trend will “stick” to your top right corner. Then, the next time you upload a video, regardless of the kind of script you choose, the trend will be added to it! It’s like you are talking about this cool thing you have come across while you are recording.
   
   
   
   The trend will be stuck to your interface during the whole day. Once you have transferred it to a video, you won’t be able to do it again until the next day. But you can look for other sticky trends!
   
   
7. NewTube City has a lot of secrets waiting for you!! We don’t want to spoil you, but here are some things you will be able to do as you keep playing:
   
   
   
   
   • Update your drone with streaming function, night vision, bigger memory… record whenever you want, wherever you want!
     
   • As you discover new ways of creating content, more commission mechanics will become available!
     
   • Order stuff from the AmazingOn App. Get food, games, game consoles, clothes… delivered to your home!
     
   • Learn new reaction cards, learn how to do unboxings, and buy new workspaces to automatically edit and upgrade your videos.
     
   • Upgrade your house and add new rooms, ask a friend character to move with you… or get married!
     
   
   
8. Earn money with your videos: your videos will have a final score based on three different sections:
   
   
   
   
   • Recording: you can get up to 5 stars when you are recording your videos. Try to fill as many emojis as possible with your reaction cards!
     
   • Editing: try to connect all your clips together, and try to make as many connections between them as possible. Don’t forget you can add different postproduction effects to increase your editing score!
     
   • Trends: better trends mean better videos. You should try to catch a more popular trend instead of gathering a couple of them which are more common.
     
   
   More views mean more money! If your subscribers are happy, they will check your videos. But if you are uploading amazing videos… more people will see them, more money will come in and they will also become subscribers. Double win!
   
   
9. Every youtuber has faced a tough beginning: do you feel like you don’t have enough energy to record tons of videos, enough money to get tons of food, and enough expertise to catch tons of great trends? That's ok!! Take it easy and keep playing. Don’t get obsessed with money or energy. Try to record and upload one video every day, be active on Instalife and use commissions to save some money during the first and hardest days, so you will be able to record more and more videos per day in no time!

10. Meet NewTube people and make new friends!: check your Contacts App and see how many characters are waiting for you at NewTube City! All of them have a storyline with different associated quests. How can you improve your relationship with a character?
    
    
    
    
    • Talk to them on a daily basis: you will learn information about them, about Newtube City, and about other characters as well!
      
    • Upload a picture with them to InstaLife once a week: at the beginning, most of the characters won’t be very enthusiastic about your InstaLife posts… but they like them! Keep improving your relationship with them and they will show you soon they really like your selfies.
      
    • Give them gifts: each character has likes and dislikes. Try to discover them and give them some gifts! They will help you to progress through the relationship.
      
    
    This information is displayed on a small pop-up every time you approach a character. If you have already performed an action from above, a small green tick will be shown!
    
    
    
    
11. Need some time to think? Grab your phone!: every time we get trapped while checking our phones, it seems like time passes differently… If you open your phone menu, time will freeze until you close it. You can think about what to do next or just take a break!

Downtown neighborhood:

It looks like how a real big games store would look, covered with posters, screens
showcasing games footage, and some merchandise for decoration. Blair is in charge of the
store.

AFK e-Sports Bar: people come here to enjoy the best hamburgers in the city while
playing a couple of rounds with their friends. The place looks like a traditional bar with some
console setups. Robin runs the place.

Spicy Ren Chinese restaurant: the fast-food look of this restaurant is compatible with
enjoying the best Chinese noodles in NewTube City. You would never say the owner, Suzy,
is also a famous youtuber.

Kiwi clothes store: you will be able to find dozens of clothes to set your standard daily
outfits, as you would do at real fashion stores… Cassidy runs the place.

Leet Point tech store: here you will be able to get all the components to upgrade your PC
for recording and editing the best videos. Adam is the owner.

Geektopia comics store: the paradise for everyone who’s into merchandising and comics.
Edgar will help you out with your purchases.

Sewer entrance: what will happen if you leave food here? Who knows...

Boxing GYM: NewTube city gym is the place where everyone who’s into sports will go. You
can train with Clara, the business owner.

[expand] The Kraken restaurant: the best place to enjoy a real Spanish Paella after a visit to the
beach. Ellen is the owner.

Calypso beach bar: enjoy some cocktails and seafood tapas in this casual beach bar. Ziggy

The Fisherman: if you’re into the fishing world this is the best place to find related
decoration items. Captain Victor Vain owns the store.

Slater Surf: the best place in NewTube City to get your sports clothes and items. Joon runs
the place.

Yatch party (Dock 54): neither youtuber nor NPCs will miss the chance to attend the
amazing parties that take place here. You can access through the dock 54. DJCerulean is
often there.

Lafayette hair salon: in this place, the stylish Lafayette will help you with any look change
you may want to go for.

Treasure Truck: this open market near the beach has plenty of garbage, but you can also
find some rare objects from time to time. The eccentric Ágora runs the place.

Fitness club: here you can enjoy the huge swimming pool and get some drinks and snacks.
Moose runs the place.

TAG Agency: Xavier is trying to turn this old agency into the most famous one at NewTube
City. You can find him working there most of the time.

CityHall neighborhood

[expand] Town Hall: the biggest building in the neighborhood allows you to manage procedures
related to your home management. The Mayoress is around most of the time.

Cinema: a luxurious cinema. Of course, you can buy some snacks for the movie!

Theater: another great place to spend your spare time and enjoy some events. It’s managed
by Tina and Dimitri, the phantom is also sometimes around her.

Galaxy Disco: NewTube people come here to enjoy the night sessions run by the famous
youtuber DJFox. You can dance and stop to get a refreshment when you are exhausted.

Gianni clothes boutique: anybody who wears a suit at NewTube has bought it at Gianni for
sure. Here you can find the fanciest clothes, sold by Gianni himself.

ErTech Innovation Center: here you can find the craziest tech items and upgrades for
your drone. Dr. Ermingaut runs the place and will involve you in any experiment if you let him
do so. Grace, her assistant robot, is also there.

E-Tech secret room: a secret room protected by an armored door at the Innovation Center.
Looks like a laboratory control room.

Althea’s luxury restaurant: there’s also a place for fancy food at NewTube. The place is
run by Althea.
