Client Changes

New features

+ Season 2 is here!
+ August support token and avatar!
+ Technically, New class "Panicked Blabbermouth" (but not really)
+ "Get Scoop" now will work only on players who have the "Person of Interest" passive skill.
+ New passive skill "Blabbermouth" (Journalists will get two scoops from players with blabbermouth)
+ New passive skill "Person of Interest" (Journalists will get one scoop as long as their target has "Person of Interest")
+ New skill "Wake up Call" (Panicked Blabbermouth only)
+ New skill "Murder Journalist" (Panicked Blabbermouth only)
+ Classes can now have 4 skills per day/night. Please understand not all classes will get 4 skills to avoid overcomplicating the game for new players.

Balance Changes

The following changes are experimental. They may or may not be rolled back/adjusted soon. Please report feedback over the discord in #suggestions

+ Voting is now allowed from N1, rather than from D1.
+ "Unskilled attack" now has infinite charges
+ "Misdirection" charges lowered from 2 to 1
+ "Spearphisher" gains "Move Hideout"
+ "Agent Leader" gains "Unskilled Attack"
+ "Offensive Mole" gains "Unskilled Attack"
+ "Rival Hacker" gains "Unskilled AttacK"
+ "Computer Forensics Background" loses "Unskilled attack" from the spawn pool and gains "Harden" instead
+ "Field Agent" gains "Follow"
+ "Field Ops Mole" gains "Disorganized Murder"
+ "Script Kiddie" gains "Wake up Call"
+ All NETSEC (Except social engineer) and AGENTS roles , as well as Corrupt Detective and Rival Hacker, gain "Person of Interest"
+ "Agent Leader" can no longer get "Operation Leader" as cover.
+ Removed "Pacifier": all mutators will now yield the same amount of Xp,coins,and count for badges and challenges.
+ Minor RNG adjustments

Servers Side Changes

Client Changes


+ There is a new "encrypted" log where you can safely type your own notes. These notes can not be stolen or read by other players and are for your eyes only. Now, where did I put that 5$ wrench?
+ Selecting "Anonymous Identity" (the first avatar you got when you created your account) will now automatically pick a random avatar from your owned avatars list, when this avatar is selected.
+ Pressing F4 will toggle the mutator browser (to view the currently enabled mutators in a lobby, if any)
+ Minor miscellaneous improvements

+ Miscellenous fairly rare bugs that were not yet investigated. I'm working on it :3
+ Opening the game log from the in-game link may leave untrusted as "running" on steam

The server will go under maintenance Sunday August 1st, roughly from 10:00 CEST (give or take, for about 2 hours) for standard maintenance and the deployment of patch 1.115.

New features

+ The online profile page is finally mobile friendly! Special thanks to Opliko for helping with the HTML/CSS styling!
+ Added 'Mutators' and 'competitive'/'casual' mode support. Be aware that mutators might be disabled at my discretion shall the community fracture significanlty, as this feature was planned for much later. Please be ESPECIALLY friendly and willing to teach to new players if you want this mode to survive with the current player count.
+ Added Mutator Pacifier: the game will be considered 'Casual': credits and xp will yield at reduced rate, and games won't count for badges and daily challenge completion criteria.
+ Added Mutator Server Farm: Impacts the game difficulty by having only servers in the network topology
+ Added Mutator Urgent Hack: Impacts the game difficulty by lowering the hack time limit by 1 day
+ Added Mutator Training Wheels: Impacts the game difficulty by doubling the turn duration. Excellent to teach friends how to play
+ Added Mutator Traitor: Impacts the game difficulty by having AGENTS spawn with a runaway snitch in addition to the Agent Leader and the Field Agent. Suggested for 15 or 16 players games only
+ Added Mutator Green Mist: Impacts the game difficulty by granting a hacking bonus based on the amount of in-play players
+ Added Mutator Red Mist: Impacts the game difficulty by permanently decreasing every player's hack chance upon every failure
+ Added Mutator Dictatorship: Impacts the game difficulty by giving the Operation Leader an additional vote (+1)
+ Added Mutator Democracy: Impacts the game difficulty by removing from the Operation Leader one vote power (-1)
+ Added Mutator Prosopagnosia: Impacts the game difficulty by not knowing who met with you (applies to all players)
+ Added Mutator Myopia: Impacts the game difficulty by making 'watched' messages RNG based.
+ Added 'Class based' daily challanges

Balance Changes

+ The Operation Leader is now allowed to vote in 1v1 scenarios
+ Increased coins rewards for AGENT win conditions, including moles
+ Increased coins reward for NETSEC winning by hacking the target
+ Decreased coins reward for NETSEC winning by not hacking the target
+ Other minor coins reward rebalance
+ Minor topology difficulty rebalance

Client Changes

+ Added 1600x900 resolution. If you had previously selected 1920x1080 or 2560x1440, you may need to switch your resolution upon loading the game after updating, sorry!
+ Added Experimental 1920x1200 resolution. If you had previously 2560x1440, you may need to switch your resolution upon loading the game after updating, sorry!
+ Miscellaneous minor improvements

Servers Side Changes

+ Temporarily disabled "minimum level" lobby requirement option in custom games.
+ Fixed a bug that let the journalist know the identity of the Runaway Snitch when target of 'Snitch to Cops'
+ Experimental bugfix for 'Using follow on an enforcer which is protecting someone (which gets arrested) will get a " did not leave his hideout" message.' - please report malfunctions, thanks!
