As OPUS: Echo of Starsong - Full Bloom Edition is approaching its 1st anniversary, we're thrilled to share with you our latest project! In collaboration with YK Band, we present the commemorative album, "Forgotten Sounds," featuring arrangements that reinterpret the mythological epic behind OPUS: Echo of Starsong.



YK Band is a musical duo that creates exotic soundscapes through an array of rare ancient instruments from around the world, including the West African Kora, the Mediterranean Tar, and the sole existing recreation of the 3000-year-old Tartessian Lyre. Led by their sublime vocals, YK invites you to reexperience the world of OPUS: Echo of Starsong through a playlist of emotions that range from loneliness, hope, love, loss, to rebirth, immersing you in a sea of memories.

Composed of Yerko Lorca and Guan Ying, the multi-award winning duo combines ancient instruments with synthetic waveforms to explore the possibilities of narrational music and awaken stories from a long-forgotten past through their unique blend of ancient and exoticism.

The album includes 12 arranged tracks that distill the world of "OPUS: Echo of Starsong" into a musical composition, extending the original soundtrack to serve up an all-new auditory feast.

Rejoin Jun and Eda's journey, and immerse yourselves once again in the ancient melodies of Thousand Peaks!

After a much-needed Chinese New Year vacation, the team is now fully recharged and ready to take on the year 2023!

That's how I felt hearing about OPUS: Prism Peak this morning, the latest game from Taiwanese developer Sigono in their loosely-connected series of jaw-droppingly pretty visual novels. Described as a spiritual sibling to their most recent OPUS game, the brilliant Echo Of Starsong, the exact magic combo of words that made my eyes go all wide and saucer-like was "a cross between What Remains Of Edith Finch and Makoto Shinkai films", which just - you know what, I'm going to shut up now so you can watch the teaser trailer.
