Alpha version Patch Notes -Settlement Survival - v0.85.315.144

[Important] This update is implemented only in the testing version (Alpha) of our game and will not be synchronized to stable release version (steam default one) until it is stable enough.
If you want to experience new contents in advance, you can manually switch the game to Alpha version as describe below.

⚡️Visual Design Optimizations:⚡️
  1. Remade the entire UI design in this update.

  2. Changed to brand new avatar designs.

Feature Changes:
  • Increased initial materials in tutorial.
  • Added extra buff on Reservoir production when ‘Sufficient’ is chosen in Resource Output.
  • Modified the weight of Wooden Statue, Iron Statue and Exquisite Sword, of which have been produced or purchased in previous saves the weights may appear negative value in the Carry Weight or show out-range Inventory Capacity. These won’t affect the game running.
  • Modified the producing efficiency of Saltworks, Sandpit, Gem Mine, Obsidian Mine, Herblist Hut, Fodder Factory, Compost Plant, Fishpond, Fuel Factory, Smelter, Ancient Smeltery, Kiln Factory, Masonry Workshop, Furniture Factory and Luxury Furniture Factory.
  • Modified the papermaking recipe of Printing Factory.
  • Modified the recipes and the product price of Bedding Shop and Leatherware Hut.
  • Modified the required amount of building materials for Bathhouse.
  • Modified the efficiency of making costumes in Clothing Factory.
  • The Household goods will no longer be stored in the Marketplace spontaneously.
  • Costumes now cannot be equipped as daily clothing. Wearing costumes in previous saves will be deleted directly.
  • Coal and Domestic Fuel are open for ‘Disable’ now
  • Working professions of Dense Forest Farm changed as Forester. In the previous saves, the workers in Dense Forest Farm need to be dismissed and re-arranged.
  • Added Searching Tool for structures, hot key'~'


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed the delayed display issue of housing stress buff.
  • Optimized and corrected the descriptions of Backpack, Foresters Hut, and Travel Light Techs etc.
  • Switched the size of Herblist Hut. Fixed the issue of changed floor area after the Herblist Hut upgraded to Pharmacy.
  • Corrected the Related Buildings of some professions in the ‘Help’.

Hotfix(Stable version/alpha version)-v0.85.311.141

Feature changes:
  • New SFX for clickings of Town hall, Police Station, Shelter, Great Palace
  • Map: Easter Island now has adjusted difficulty values
  • Dates now have an adjusted routine of production.
  • Reservoirs now have better efficiency value. Water mills and water sawmills now have better efficiency.
  • Adjusted the price of cocoa beans
Bugfixes:
  • Insulation value would correctly reach its new maximum when a perk granting such value is applied.
  • Corrected description for Gatherers' hut.

Heads up, everyone!
From the version, savefiles created in the former versions would no longer be valid. If you MUST load such a savefile, switch to the Beta version to do so, the how-to is here below:

Another thing is a MAJOR update for the stable release version. And SOON ENOUGH there would be another. But enough leek for now, for it will soon be reek. Let's see what we have for this Update:

Here's the changelog of the re-worked welfare system, check them below:
  1. Original ways of inc&decrease of happiness and health value will no longer apply in further versions.
  2. There're now several different sections in the gaining of Happiness&Health value bonuses, a reworked kind of stat tips is also applied to happiness and health value.
  3. Happiness and health value now have reworked effects in different intervals.
  4. Citizen's panels now show stats about happiness&health related requirements.
  5. Happiness and health value now have a max number of 300% rather than 200%
  6. A Happiness and health-affected bonus is applied in the starting phase of the games.
  7. Reworked effects&panels for following structures: Churches/Mosques, Hospitals/Barber Shops. Theatres/Jingju Theatres,Bath houses.
  8. Reworked effects of certain structures and Remodel selections.
  9. Changed classification and effect for certain items.
  10. Removal of existing items and rework of original recipes.
  11. Reworked Happiness and health value related tech-trees
  12. Tombstones will now expire faster.
  13. Help texts are changed to reflect reworks on happiness and health system.
  14. Reworks on guide texts.
  15. Reworks on new players' guides.
  16. Work load module now has a optimized logic for judgement.
  17. Reworks on first game texts.


Numerical adjustment:
  1. All in-game stats are now recalculated and renewed to form a new stat structure.
  2. Readjusted early-game buffs for a brand new early-game experience.
  3. Readjusted yields and growth cycles of certain crops.
  4. Readjusted yields and slaughter gains of certain livestock.
  5. Readjusted distribution patterns and yields of wild resources. The changes will affect manual gathering, Forester's Huts, Hunters' Huts, and Gatherers' huts.
  6. Readjusted fillingness and Thristiness provided by food and drinks and health and happiness values.
  7. An almost-overhaul for recipes and efficiency of production and procession structures.
  8. Renewed buff sets for certain modifications, structures, mayors, and techs.
  9. Certain tech trees were redesigned. (Liveability included)
  10. Happiness and health values are now divided into three tiers; a new kind of buff is applied for each tier reached.
  11. Readjusted rates of dependency for different subjects to happiness and health tier evaluation.
  12. Readjusted states for health-and-happiness-related consumables.
  13. Dense farms and water nurseries now have readjusted production bonuses; the structures above will no long be benefitted from fertilizer buffs.
  14. Deep Mines and Quarries now require consumables to start working. And their production rate is raised as compensation.
  15. Recipe for building latrines now has changed numbers of required materials.
  16. Fruits now have higher costs, no fruit seeds will be given in the start-game.
  17. Decline in overall fat production


A better upper-left resource panel:
  • Annual production&consumption is now available in tips-items.
  • A new button jumping to stock management
  • Reworked resource classification in the panel.
  • Optimized text effects in the resource panel.


Better warehouse sorting:
  • Sorting of warehouse contents is now reworked to allow sorting of single-items.
  • Warehouse sorting panel is now reworked to match the changes.
  • Searching is now available for warehouses.


Easy searching:
  • Searching panel is now available in some of the Help texts,City Details and Trading panels.
  • Categorized display is now available for some search panels.
  • Fuzzy query by the initial letters is now available in search panels.


Features:
  • Now you can summon the control panel with ctrl+~.
  • Decorative structure are now ONLY able be purchased with SILVER COINS. (Cancelling the construction does not give back the coins consumed)
  • Fertile soil bonuses will now apply to orchards.
  • A selection of "2" is now available for initial population.
  • Recipe of straw shoes are now available in Knitting workshop rathen than the tailors'
  • Cellars and storage yards are now placed in changed position of the tech tree of "Logistics"
  • Range of effects will be displayed whenever a structure with effect range is selected.
  • Recipes of saplings are now removed from the nurseries.
  • Changed material requirements for hospitals.
  • Recommend staff number is now colored in the structure panel for better visual comprehension, there are also changes on the very numbers.
  • Images in the help text is renewed to match the changes.
  • Saplings are removed from Help-Illustration panel.
  • Saplings are removed from Town Detail-Seeds and livestock panel.
  • Goof-off Hero will no longer grant any health or happiness bonuses.
  • Initial tech points will now change depending on the difficulty modifier chosen for the game. Still, you can adjust this value yourself in the start-game setups.
  • Recommend staff numbers will now be colored in non-fix-sized structures.
  • Tools now have new default priority levels.
  • New items: Medicinal Powder, Salt Soap, Ceremonial Bread, Peasant Bread, and Veggie Salad.
  • New structures: Chapel, Herbalist Cabin, Marquee, and Veg Procession Plant.
  • Selection "Special Structures" is no longer available in the starting phase. The existing subjects of special structures (Rubik's Cubes, Goof-off hero, and three statues) can now be unlocked via blueprints sold randomly by merchant ships.
  • Boiler rooms readjusted: It will provide proper insulation rather than make citizens gather. Thus, residents in its zone of effect will no longer consume fuels.
  • Docks can now be built without pre-techs.
  • Docks and tea shops now have different construction recipes.
  • Certain random events were rewritten and re-rewarded.
  • Tents are now only available for the Easter island scene.
  • Modification effects of marquees and tents are now changed individually.
Aesthetics:
  • A new kind of blueprint structure---Grand thermae is now available.
  • An almost-overhaul on the VFX of structure models.
  • Citizens with both handcarts and horses will now make makeshift wagons, a great step forward!
  • Plantations now have better models and readjusted planting areas.
  • Structure panels now looks better in double-row mode.
  • A new health value-related structure: Latrine.
  • Factions now have better item showcasing panels.
  • Adult school and Grand thermae are now shown in Antonio's faction panel.
  • Better icons for certain items like milk and cakes.
  • Better models for certain structures (e.g., Forester's Hut, Saltworks, Small trading posts, Large trading posts, Water trading posts, docks, Curing Workshops, Leather shops, Carving Workshops, Pottery workshops, latrines.)
  • Better model for Jewelry Workshop
  • Better model for nurseries
  • Better model performance for mills and water mills.


Significant change in BGMs and VFX :
  • 6 new BGMs
  • Better click-on sound FX for certain structures like latrines and hospitals.
  • Better sound FX for certain disasters.


Bugfixes:
  • Fishing ports will now be correctly benefitted from education bonuses.
  • Reworked on the positioning of the accesses and working animals in the delivery center.
  • .Certain item-related mods would no longer stop the game from starting.
  • Some texts are updated to prevent further misunderstanding.
  • Remodeling will no longer cause removed items to appear.
  • When the relationship with Carlos's faction reaches lv2, the tequila seeds will now be correctly given.
  • Missing seeds and animals are now back in the dock's Order panel.
  • Seeds purchasable when relationship with Carlo's faction reaches lv.4 will now be correctly available.
  • Dung collector now have corrected descriptions for their actions.
  • Achievement-Seeds Collector will now not be unlocked at the start of every new game.
  • Certain abnormal productions caused by orchard recipes will cease to happen from now on.

  • Halloween treats can now be obtained via faction trading routes.
  • Fishing ports and Pelagic fishing harbors now must be appointed to harvest only ONE kind of production in their lists.
  • Structures, including bread shops, Textile water mills, Jam workshops, etc., now have optimized recipes or workflows.
  • Achievement "New year blessing" now has changed descriptions to inform different ways to obtain related items.
  • Techs related to latrine modification are now removed. The structure can now be upgraded directly with the required materials in stock if obtained via faction trading routes or other methods.
