PRIM 1.3 Update

[h2]Dear friends of the Realm of the Dead!
[/h2][p]We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the feedback and support we have received for PRIM! Since PRIM was first released, we have added several patches. We've made usability tweaks, edited content and fixed small bugs that some of you players have reported. Thank you for doing so and we will continue to do our best to respond to every bug report!

[/h3][p][/p][p]This release concentrates on bugfixes, improved gamepad-controls and quality-of-live-or-death optimisations. [/p][p]Some of the changes and fixes are:[/p]

[p]Pressing the middle mouse-button now shows hotspots[/p]
[p]Better scaling of cursors and hotspot-names[/p]
[p]Better scaling of artwork provided by the backers[/p]
[p]Removed banding on some graphics[/p]
[p]Updated included frameworks and the underlying runtime[/p]
[p]Several performance-optimisations (e.g.: reduced stutter when loading scenes)[/p]
[p]Improvements to gamepad-controls (e.g.: Prim's walking-animation stops at the borders of walkable areas)[/p]
[p]Increased size of all small hotspots[/p]
[p]Fixes for Prim's Room, The Book of the Dead, In Front of the Fates' Place and several other places...[/p]

PRIM wins Best Family Game at DCP 2025

[h2]Dear friends of the Realm of the Dead!
[/h2]
We have great news about PRIM! On 14.05.2025, the German Computer Game Award 2025 was being awarded in 16 categories. PRIM was one of the three nominated games in the category “Best Family Game” and won this category.

We are very proud of this recognition of our work and of course we can also make good use of the 40,000 euros in prize money.

PRIM 1.2 Update and new demo...

[h3]We are excited to release update 1.2!
[/h3]
The biggest new feature: a new demo!
The demo is now based on the sources of the actual game and is not based on an earlier prototype any more. This means: it has been translated into several languages, has English and German audio and it supports mouse and gamepad-controls - all the things the main game supports as well - it is just a bit shorter...

Other improvements

The game uses a lot less main memory and level-loading should be a bit quicker as a consequence.
Improved Lip-sync - mainly the scene in the attic has been redone.
Many smaller bugs have been fixed.
