Earn cards by winning side battles in Wild Country, let's take a look!

Hi there!

As you know, or hey, maybe you don’t, if not, hi! We’re Lost Native! We’re making a CCG x City Building game called Wild Country! Glad you found us! But as I was saying, as you know, our single-player campaign focuses on battling your way to become the mayor of Sun City. You’ll use the custom deck of cards you’ve collected to create your city and earn more money than your opponent.

This isn’t the only chance you get to play Wild Country, though, as around the map, there are a bunch of visitors and residents who want to battle and play Wild Country! You’ve just got to walk up to them and talk to them, and you’re in! Let’s see it in action…

If you win, you’ll get yourself a booster pack, giving you a selection of new cards to add to your deck, so it’s a good idea to battle as many people as possible! We also have different kinds of side quests where you can earn cards and cosmetics, but we will talk about those more later!

We can’t wait to get the game in your hands, so keep your eyes peeled for any future demos.

Card Synergies Are Great! (Until They’re Used Against You)

Hi there!

This week, we want to take a quick look at card synergies in our CCG x City Building game. Like many card games, throwing down a card in play is fun, but lining up a perfect combo to use in one hand is a form of bliss.

These kinds of synergies are made possible via experimentation and the ability to create your own decks. You could craft one deck around getting the most money out of your buildings fast, or maybe you want to just hinder your opponent while taking it slow and steady with your town? There are a lot of possibilities with all the cards in Wild Country!

In our game, you’re putting down buildings and throwing out ability cards to earn more money than your opponent. That feeling of bliss we described, however, is reversed when they’re used against you. So, here’s a quick example from our single-player game where Poppy not only destroys one of our buildings, cutting our earnings, but also steals cash from us.

So, you know, these characters look pretty cute, but just know, once you get into the game, a lot of them are there to win. Plus, it’ll make it all the sweeter when you get to use your special combos against them.

We can’t wait to get the game in your hands again, something we should have more info about soon!

Quick Look: Ability Cards

Robbie Scritch, your rival in our CCG x City Building game, is the worst, so of course, they are going to use ability cards that steal stuff!

Let's take a super quick look at two of our ability cards, Pickpocket and Restyle, and how they work, and confirm Robbie's The Worst status!
